Kindred Hospital South Florida - Coral Gables

I’m a patient at kindred Hospital Coral Gables for the past 2 1/2 weeks and I would like to express my gratitude towards the truly professional crew of doctors nurses and technicians at this hospital. I’ll be leaving soon a much better person. Thank you all.

My mom was transferred from another hospital to Kindred Hosp So Fla Coral Gables, as she needed special care due to COVID. I like to start by saying that their recruiter Evelyn Cabrera went above and beyond to make my mom’s transfer as smooth as possible, and she succeeded! Her prompt response to my calls, questions, follow-up is something you don’t see nowadays, believe me! Whether by phone or text she will answer you! And if didn’t have one at the moment, for sure will follow-up. Then, the hospital care.all the nurses were exceptional, attentive to my concerns, but specifically Damaris Serra and Guillermina (don’t have her last name) they are angels here on earth! Her level of care and compassion not only for the patient but the family, is truly genuine. Then the CNAs.true heroes as well. All were awesome but I’ve never seen the genuine care and love that Daisy, Maria and Clara professed to my mom, was truly remarkable.with all the stress due to this horrible pandemic everyone has, it is rare to see this level of care. Also want to give a shout-out to Ludmila and Ivania who helped w FaceTime when visitation was suspended. To the Case Managers Roberto Lomana and Diana Aleman.doing all possible to find a Rehab Center when there were none available. Kudos to them! Last but not least, the Doctors. I’m glad Dr Kalel Diaz-Reyes is staffed at Kindred! What a caring doctor! Does not rush when explaining. Spec when family sometimes don’t understand. A true Angel in my book. Dr Avecillas, although I only spoke w him once, was very nice too! If I leave anybody out, please forgive me.all I have to say, if anybody needs an Acute Care Hospital, look no further. Kindred is the place to go!

Update: situation rectified, got a call back, thank you for responding in a timely fashion. And she was very helpful & understanding. I really appreciate it. & the facility is very clean, that was never a problem, just communication that’s now resolved, the nurses are great as well.father who is a army vet is at this place now. As a medical professional, I would like to remain professional. I would appreciate it if someone gets back to me ASAP! I have called close 600 times, I get no one on the phone. In case you guys forgot his life matters. Remember your training and the oath you all have taken. Go refresh your memories on law of tort.

Kindred hospital has been amazing for the recuperation of my husband. They take good care of him in his time of need. Although, its been tough, Kindred has been more than good to us. I would like to take this opportunity to shout out Andrea Farrada. Since the first day, Andrea has been a godsent and I am seriously in debt in her gratitude. My husband has been in Kindred for three weeks with serious injuries and I couldn't be happier with the staff of Kindred hospital and Andrea. The facility was clean and the nurses are attentive. Thank you for all that you do. God bless.

I came to this hospital in a ventilator and very sick. In just a couple of days I was able to be taken off the machine and the breathing tube. Thank you to all the staff and therapist for helping me in my recovery, staff in great and attentive. I will be going home soon to continue with my recovery.

I feel that my stay here at kindred the staff are all very helpful at all times, anyone that passes by the hallway comes to my room and attends to my needs. Staff are all very friendly and they all help each other at anytime, great team work. I came in a ventilator to this hospital and with the help of all the therapist I was able to be taken out of the tube and now talking and eating with the help of the speech therapist as well. I want to thank kindred and all the staff for a great recuperation.

Dear friends at kindred thank you for the care and attention you gave to my wife Miriam. You gave her so much love and made her feel at home. I would also like to thank you for making her last moments in life so special.

I am very happy with the care I received in this facility, I came on a vent to this facility and I was able to come off and I am doing very well getting out of bed and doing physical therapy. I am also happy with the care from Andrea CNA and also Roberto respiratory.

I, BEING THE OLDER BROTHER OF THE PATIENT, I HAVE REMAINED WITH HIM MOST OF HIS STAY HERE AT THE HOSPITAL - DAY AND NIGHT. I HAVE OBSERVED VARIOUS NURSES AND DOCTORS, WHICH TOOK CARE OF ANTHONY. I WILL STATE THAT THEIR CARE FOR HIM WAS OF THE HIGHEST PROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE AND APPROACH. AS SUCH, MY BROTHER HAS UNDERGONE DURING HIS SEVERAL WEEK STAY AT KINDRED, A VERY POSITIVE AND SPEEDY RECOVERY FROM HIS TRACHEOSTOMY AND PACEMAKER OPERATIONS, ON TOP OF HIS WEAKENED POST-PNEUMONIA CONDITION.

I came in really sick and Kindred Hospital made me really well. The nurses have taken great care of me. The doctors are excellent. The rooms are clean and are cleaned all the time. The staff is wonderful. I am very happy my health has improved thanks to Kindred.

I would like to use this note to express my sincerest thanks to you and your staff during my stay at kindred hospital. Your staff were very professional, kind and supportive. I am truly grateful for them during this experience. I wanted to let you know there were some staff that made my stay extra special for me. Nurses Damaris, Joel, Alina, Tony Terry, Heidy, Fermin, and Henry. CNA Dina, odalys, Miriam. And all the respiratory therapist are great, thanks again for being hospitable.

Kindred Hospital has treated my brother with great care. The nurses and CNA are lovely, they have great bedside manners. They are very lovely and kind human beings. I really can say Kindred had treated my brother with great care, are caring and loving towards my brother. His medical condition has improved

I recommend Kindred to anyone specially if your loved ones need respiratory treatment. The hospital is clean, with big rooms and an excellent staff. The parking lot has plenty of spaces and the cafeteria is always open for drinks and coffee. For the moment you entered the hospital the security guard welcomes
you with a smile. All the nurses and nurses assistants are hardworking, sweet, and very passionate. The patients receive daily physical and respiratory therapy. Thank you Kindred for providing the best service to our mother!

By way of this letter we would like to give our sincere thanks to all the staff, doctors and others that have dealt with our brother and sisters, Wilfredo Hernandez, flavia Garcia, and Geysa Gonzalez. We appreciate and are great fun for the kind treatment our brother has received and the way his siblings and family members have been treated during this difficult time in need. The staff is caring and loving towards all the patients they care for, would recommend to everyone. Thank you for all you do.

Kindred is an excellent Hospital/Rehab facility! The setting is super clean and welcoming. We are delighted with the customer service and specially the warm daily treatment to our mother. The whole staff is hard working and passionate. We have found a HOME away from home in such difficult times. Thank you Luis Aleman for your your support and great service to your patients and staff.

This is by far the best hospital i have ever taken a family member to and the staff is so warm and accomodating.my family member did not wanted to leave to the alf he lived and loved for the last 4 years.
