My son was admitted to Kindred Hospital - Hollywood, due to a brain injury, caused by a car accident. He made big improvements and had a speedy recovery within 2 weeks with the help and support of the staff. The hospital has a warm and friendly environment. The staff in general are very professional and work as a team. They go out of their way to accommodate you. The Doctors are very considerate and always involved me in my son's treatments. I was always aware of the treatment and medications administered. I am beyond grateful to ALL the staff for their professionalism, great medical attention and knowledge from the staff in housekeeping, to nurses, nurses aid, specialists. Special thanks to Linda (patient advocate), Rhonda (wound care), Jeff (nurse), Angel (nurse), Margali (nurse), Richie (CNA), Dr. Frank and Luis (respiratory), and foremost the therapy staff (Yana, Lisa, Maria, Anthony). I thank everyone for their encouragement and support to my son and our family in this difficult time of our life, and to Pauline for making sure we have a smooth discharge and transition. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE…. If you care about your loved ones please don’t bring them here. Lack of care. These Nurses/CNA do not care they will treat your loved ones like a piece of trash… Now a days it’s like where can you really find the right place of care for help. Nobody wants to do their job it’s all about the money.

I was in bad shape when I came to Kindred. It was tough but they worked with me. The PT staff worked me hard to help me recover to the next step. The nursing staff has been wonderful. God is good.

I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO REACH A FRIEND FOR MORE THAN A WEEK. I FOLLOWED THE PROMPTS FOR BED A OR B AND ROOM NUMBER AND THE PHONE JUST RINGS & RINGS. I CALLED THE NURSES STATION. FIRST THEY SAID SHE WAS NOT A PATIENT. THEN THEY SAID SHE WAS THERE TO HOLD ON AND THEY HUNG UP. WHAT IS WRONG THERE?

If I could give 0 stars I would. Nurses were rude and always trying to give me medication to knock me out. Please be careful with your love ones they medicated you to put to sleep. Aides were even worst. Wait 2 hours to be changed or taken to bathroom. Awful Awful experience. Glad I'm home and alive. No thanks to them.

I'm going home tomorrow and I have to say that Kindred has been one of the best hospitals that I've been in. The food was great. Physical therapy worked me to the bones but it was worth it. The doctors, nurses and CNAs have been amazing. My Case Manager Kelly and Patient liaison Linda always made sure to watch out for me and keep me informed. Thanks a lot Kindred Hollywood

Not good enough for Critical care patients. Ventilator patients should not go here until the are more stable because they don’t handle ventilator patients with the required attention and when the patients deteriorate they say, they don’t transfer patients to hospitals ‍️my friend died there and he was only 42 y/o

The most inadequate care I've ever had. No hot water and unable to shower or wash hair. The rudest, nastiest nurses and CNAs I've ever encountered. I would go to my cat's vet before I would EVER go back to Kindred

My wife is there now and I can say some workers are better than others some workers are more passionate about there job than others so with that being said I think that the since of urgency could be a lot better there are some really sick people in this hospital that needs to be checked on more frequently than others I have been in the room with my wife and the ventilation machine is steady going off and no one comes in to check so I look outside to see who's at the desk and no one is there when there is supposed to be someone there at all times the patients already have enough on there mind they don't need the extra stress. By no means am I here to bash anyone but the hospital needs to have regular meetings with there staff and they need to be held accountable for there actions as far as not making the stay at Kindred the best that it could be.

This place was an absolute nightmare!   Please note that I said "WAS" because, in less than 4 days of what was scheduled to be 25 days of care, I had to remove my mother from this location due to negligence and lack of care. It saddens me that some have to pay for others. There were approximately 4 GOOD ppl at this location 1nurser (forgot her name /African American Descent in ICU), Kathy, Jeff, and Linda. ICU And speaking to an actual doctor is a complete joke. If you try to complain too much they try to show face and have a board meeting with all executives and trust and believe that will be the last time you see them. I only spoke to a Doctor via phone call once in the 4 days. Some nurses are way more knowledgeable than others not even seeking interest to know about their patients. This facility doesn't Deserve the 3.8-star rating it should be a negative one! The atmosphere of this place is Extremely DARK. I encourage any family that truly cares about their loved one to please investigate other locations before even considering this one.

In terms of an LTACH, Kindred is one with great people. From Kelly in Case Management, to Grace and Lisa and all the physical therapy staff, and several exceptional bedside staff, our loved one has been well cared for. It is never easy to be in this predicament with your family member, but I find that all the staff we came in contact with was very empathetic and truly did their very best for us! We are grateful!

Staying at Kindred was a pleasant experience. I was recovering from 2 open heart surgeries and enduced coma.and going home today.

The nurses were always attentive and PT was GREAT. The nutritionist made sure the my meals were accommodating. The doctors could spend a little more time with their patients.

If you ever need long term care, Kindred is the place to go.

My stay at Kindred has been excellent. Both Maggie’s, June, Mo, Winston, Karen (nurses) Simone, Rose, Marilyn (CNA) were WONDERFUL to me. Grace and Anthony, Maria and Lisa from Physical Therapy always had a positive word to keep me going.

Linda, my Patient Relation advocate always made sure I was ok.

I loved it there. I would recommend to everyone. I’m going home, thanks to Kindred.

I wouldn't even put my worst enemy in this hospital. It was a nightmare! I am only going to share a few pictures of just the bathroom and room my nephew was in but this is not as bad as the treatment of some of the CNA and nurses. 3.5 hours wait time for the patient to get changed-and yes I am talking about CHANGED from a bad bowel movement and lots of URINE. This facility should be named The Ghost Facility. You hardly see a physician and when you do- they are in a hurry, the CNA will be either out to lunch or "looking" for a nurse to help and the nurses- they are always doing "medicine" rounds. I only had the pleasure to meet six extraordinary staff - Rhonda from wound care, Olga from respiratory, Grace from OT, Maguy Noel- CNA, Yanet L. - CNA and Karen from respiratory. They were more than amazing. They treated my nephew like if he was family. Besides them, the other staff seemed incompetent and heartless! I really hope that they or their family members never end up in a hospital bed! I am so glad I pushed hard to get out of there!

I was at Kindred Hospital in October 2022.
I stayed for one month. The care of the nurses, nurses aides, occupational therapy, and doctors was great. The hospital is very clean and the food is good. I would recommend this hospital to anyone needing their care.
