Kindred Hospital South Florida - Ft. Lauderdale

My husband has been in Kindred rehab and his therapist Steven has been helpful and he listens to what my husband needs at the time. I am happy with his treatment and recovery. I would recommend kindred rehab.

Had a wonderful experience with this particular nurse Ms. Doyan was very helpful patient and attentive. The therapist John was also great would recommend any day.

My stay at kindred has been successful and I'm doing so much better than when I first arrived do to the nurses, doctors and all staff members. Since ive been here I've made new friends and shared my recipes. The kitchen also needs to work on there menu. I would recommend kindred for your loved ones.

My treatment in kindred rehabilitation has been helpful since my shoulder replacement surgery. Dr Bloomgarden visited regularly and attentive to my care. My rehab team Steven and Gabrielle were instrumental in getting strong. Kim from wound care was responsive and careful to take care of my wound on your hand. They were informative and motivating. The clinical staff that stood out the most was my nurse Pam and nurse assist Doyan were always concerned about my status, attentive to requests and needs. They made themselves available when I needed anything.

The minute I walked in I felt cared for! From admission to discharge the process was smooth and actually felt stress free. Great job by the medical and administrative team!

Nobody wishes to be in the hospital. But this place makes it as comfortable as possible with its caring staff. Even the admin interacts and makes one feel like their medical needs matter to them. That's the standard of care medical facilities should aspire to match.

My stay at Kindred has been productive and enjoyable. The nursing staff and respiratory have helped in my recovery. The CNA's deserve more recognition other hard work they do daily. Case management has a great team and they were helpful in my move to another facility. I would recommend Kindred for other people

ROSE from environmental cleaning is excellent, she goes above and beyond when it comes to cleaning. She respect the patients she is very caring and quiet. All the nurses are excellent, I have no complaints on the care provided. Dietary, they do their best, the food was surprisingly good. They come to see me and ask how is everything. Javier came twice to ask if I am happy with the food. Infection control nurse followed on removing my foley and kept me updated, I had a great experience. They are all great, I was really surprised on the kind of service that I have received while I am here. I will definitely recommend this hospital for your family members.

Horrible hospital. Guy nurses have hung up on family members when they simply called for information on how the patient is doing. The nurses have lilies and said the patient is getting medicine right away when they haven’t done it u til the next day.
Patient got bed sores as she sat in her own bodily fluids. I can’t even write all the things that this hotel did or didn’t do. My grandmother was left to sit in her own pee & poop and they never checked for a UTI. She dies because of an infection that they neglected to check. It was too late and she died of sepsis. She didn’t have to die. She could have lived and came home like she wanted. She only had a cold and needed a little physical
Therapy. And YOUR hospital killed her due to neglect!
If you love your loved ones, do not send them to this long-term care hospital. They only neglect patients and they don’t even call answer the phones or when you leave a message they don’t call the family members back to let them know what’s going on. It’s torture having your loved one there. I will be suing this hospital for neglect & Im a firefighter/paramedic for 24 years. I’ve never seen Such bad caretaking in my whole entire life or career.

I went into the ER today around 2 30 a.m And the overweight asian looking lady didn't want to let me see my girl friend that's new to this country. She was more focus on the insurance papers. These people are low moral they will come between you and your love for dollars avoid this hospital at all cost. She didn't even tell her I was there for over 2 hours.

With stay at kindred the nursing staff has been wonderful. Each department from nursing, rehab and the clean crew has been wonderful. I did not want to come to this hospital because my mom passed away here. I decided to come and very grateful I did. Stephen my physical therapist and Flora help get me stronger to go home. Rema from woundcare was amazing. I appreciate all they everyone has done. Not to mention the delicious chicken salad. I would refer kindred to my family.

The experience at was extremely positive. The care was above expectation. From the facility, the doctors, nurses and staff were impeccable. Pearl and Della kept us informed of anything we were concerned about. Deago and Emilio were such a help and greated us each day with a smile! What can we say about the nurses, aids, down to the cleaning staff, they all work so hard! Marie, Earlene, Edna, Eve, Andrea, just to name a few made the stay such a positive one. I would recommend this facility as being one of the best experiences we had. Kudos to all!

During my stay at Kindred Ft. Lauderdale the staff has been attentive, genuine, and helpful to say the least. Many nurses like Eve, Karen, Seide and Sophie to name a few. The help from the rehab team has been incredible with alot of motivation from Diego and the team. Pearl and Della were great in advocating for me.

My time in Kindred rehab has been 5 stars. Because Steven is kind, patient and has helped me to improve fast, and meet my goals.

BUT I DO NOT LIKE KINDRED MOST OF DA NURSES ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL DEY DO NOT ANSWER DA CALL BELL AT AH TIMELY MANNER. I DO NOT LIKE KINDRED HOSPITAL.
