Growing up Queens, NYC a Borough with so much diversity and for knowing a great Chinese spots.

King Chef hits home for me. Most def NYC style for any northern folks this place a must try. Chicken Broccoli, Boneless Spare Ribs, Lo Mein, Egg Rolls were all delicious just to name a few.

I have been ordering from them for years, and are very close with them. The reason why they charge for replacing vegetables is to keep the fish full, if there is only two types of vegetable in the dish and you skip on one of those vegetables the dish is only going to look 2/3 full. Then people are going to complain that the dish isn’t “full” or “I’m being riped off”, so for them to not deal with any of that they will put more meat in the dish. But meat ARE EXPENSIVE so charging you $1 for extra meat isn’t going to be the end of the world. If anything it’s better than most places where they charge you $3 for extra meat. Please know that family business is not easy, especially during this pandemic.

The food is very delicious and the service is also very good. I have encountered strange customers here, so I can understand that some of the reviews are from them too. I think the owner just wants to make sure their food don’t look too little. Just pay an extra dollar, I hope you can afford food for one dollar in the future.

I am of chinese descent. I have ordered pepper steak (which comes with green pepper and onions) many times and have asked whoever answers the phone to skip the pepper. Suddenly this one time, the son took my order and lo and behold, he charges me a $1 more for skipping the pepper ; he wants me to believe more steak was added VS more onions! If they ripped me off, think what they do to you foreigners / caucasians. I will take my business elsewhere. Nothing to write home about this joint.

Please Don't Eat there! My daughter ate the Egg Drop soup and got very ill. Vomiting. Food poisoning. I called them to let them know and they could of cared less!

This place never fails to impress. They have fresh dishes for reasonable prices, there is no waiting time even when the place is loaded.

I have lived here for eight years. This little place brings real chinese wok flavor! I have tried lots of good chinese through out the country From ohio too cali too Nyc even windser Canada. And this place has there own style. They will customize too order. And work quick best in plantation flat out. Same owners too. I just they served duck.and a dish called wardiphar. Great people great owners. Thank you for all the years of hard work

Delicious and affordable. Got a pint of hot and sour soup, which in my books is always a litmus test of how good a Chinese restaurant is. The soup was great. Other lunch dishes were Szchechuan chicken and Beef lo mein special. Both were great, with plenty of food to last us two meals. We are definitely coming back here again.

Ordered from here everything looked good but very bad smell from the chicken broccoli rotten discusting smell. I have ordered this dish all my life and never smelled like that. Had to through it away 30 dolllard worth of food. Save your money do not order or eat from here the food is old and rotten never will order from here again.

Surprisingly good food: many takeout Chinese restaurants run pretty similarly. But good from King Chef is more flavor able than the typical. So far everything we've ordered has been great.

I've ordered food there before, but recently caught the young male employee taking a picture of my credit card. The counter is designed for you not to see this but I looked over. If anyone orders food from them it's best to pay in cash. It's better to be safe than sorry.
