King O Falafel Kissimmee reviews
18First experience with this spot, ordered delivery via DoorDash. Delivery came quicker than estimated. Food was packaged with care. I ordered the gyro, grape leaves, kibbeh, and baklava. I got my toddler the chicken nuggets and fries. Everything was at a nice temperature and texture. Flavor was spot on! The veggies in the gyro had freshness and crispness to them. Grape leaves were divine! Baklava made you wanting more! Absolutely recommend and will return for more! Look for my video on my channel on YouTube, called Hammocks to Coasters.
Over rated falafel over fired, chicken has some strange after taste, salad looked rotten, much needed kitchen refresh not sure how heath department haven’t said anything, always double check your order, missing items and I called about the missing order and instead of saying I will make them he starts arguing saying I didn’t order it lol
We had a dinner there the other day. Total of 5 people (2 adults and 2 kids and 1 toddler). The food was good, we had 3 portions of kids FF and chicken nuggets, falafel, and adult portion of chicken tikka and kabobs which were served with rice and soup of choice. We had a good time. However, when I went to pay for the food, I was overcharged. Let me explain what happened. I know in the menu they say that they will apply 15% gratuity of the parties of 5 or more people. When cashier told me to pay 57$ for everything I asked him, if the tips are included in the amount and he said no. At that time I didn't assume that he would lie and I trusted him and told him to add 3$ to make it 60$ (just to clarify, I believe there were no service at all and 3$ is a fair amount of tips). When I came home, I calculated the amount of food and I realized that they charged 15% gratuity and 57$ was already with the gratuities. My point here is not that 3$ that I added, but I don't like people lying to my face and overcharging me purposely. Just I want other people to be aware and calculate your bill before you going to pay.
My family and I visited yesterday and had a delicious meal. Everything looked great and tasted even better. The Chicken Tika was described as spicy and that is an accurate statement. The staff were all wonderful. We will definitely go there again to try more of their menu.
Amazingly delicious food and awesome service. Staff is helpful in answering questions and recommendations. Falafel are made fresh and NOT double fried like other places. You can see them make it right in front of you. Chicken is juicy and we'll seasoned. Rice and soup is amazing as well.
Best gyro and falafel sandwiches I ever had. Friendly service and delicious food. The bread, sauces, and perfectly cooked meat makes you go back for more.
Absolutely LOVED our dinner after a day of traveling to Orlando. Just happened to stumble upon King O Falafel while looking for flavorful vegetarian options. This is the real deal - what an incredible gem y'all have here in Kissimmee. Super friendly folks - they truly are givers of hospitality! Try the Kinafa. So yummy! Shukran!
I really enjoyed my falafel and eggplant sandwich. My wife got the vegetarian platter, which was plenty of food. They didn't have a vegetarian kids meal, but my daughter didn't mind having fries for dinner.
The prices were reasonable, and it wasn't busy on a Monday afternoon.
One of my favourite halal restaurants ever in Orlando FL. The food specially sandwiches are very delicious. But I reviewed them 4 of 5 stars because I take really long time to prepare your order
The best falafel in orlando! My family and I have been coming here for YEARS at least once a month! Cannot recommend it enough
I love coming to this family owned restaurant, the food is great and quick to serve, and the service is nice. Totally recommended
Amazing Mediterranean cuisine! The vegetarian platter will not disappoint and the lamb was delicious as well. Highly recommend!
I enjoyed the falafel sandwich so much! Even though the sandwich bread wasn't the traditional pita bread, the flat bread was fresh, perfect temperature, falafel was fresh, and most importantly topped with all the authentic flavors I was craving. The cherry on top was how pleasant and friendly the manager was! If you're in the Orlando area or just passing through, definitely give it a try.
Delicious! Ordered chicken tikka sandwich, falafel and eggplant sandwich, lentil soup,
Hummus and baba ghanoush which came with pita bread. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. I ordered through door dash which was delivered promptly. I wish there was a way to request extra sauces and hot sauce - would recommend the restaurant to consider adding those options.
We got tired of burgers, chicken fingers, and pizza at the theme parks, so decided to try this place for a change. Now THIS is what an authentic Mediterranean restaurant is like! I am very picky about gyros, rarely satisfied.this place gets my full approval, just as good as my favorite place back home. We also had falafel, kibbeh, hummus (huge serving, great value!), lentil soup, and baklava. All were outstanding!
The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, is that they did not use traditional jasmine rice they used plain white rice that they seasoned and it just did not hit the spot on my food craving. Food otherwise was very good.
So nice for a quick lunch. I love their lentil soup, falafel, hummus, the list goes on. It's a small place with an outdoor dining option.
It was our first time here. They truly are the King o Falafel! Wife got soup and a falafel sandwich - soup was piping hot and soooo good. I got falafel sandwich and hummus - hummus was tasty, not the bland paste one gets at the supermarket. And the falafel sandwiches - best I've had in a while. Falafels were fresh made, not pre-made, so crisp outside, hot inside. Pita was so fresh, light and hot. And since it's my birthday I got baklava - house made and delicious. Not too sweet, just right. Great experience.
