Kingdom Buffet II, Boynton Beach FL

Terrible experience, being discriminated, on top of that, we have being overcharged. Staff has not provided good service. The man on the front desk is disrespectful. Will never eat there again. Bad customer service.

The food is very old and tasteless, very poorly service and they demand a tip.
The cashier demanded a tip from me and since I didn’t have cash, he told me not to return anymore

We went there tonight and the man basically lectured me and my boyfriend because we decided not to give a tip. He continued to explain that we’re supposed to tip in an aggressive tone, and my bf asked if it was mandatory and the man said no and then my bf said “okay”. The man said “unbelievable” and then continued to say passive aggressive comments under his breath. Keep in mind, he didn’t just say one or two things but rather a whole minute or two of basically degrading and judging us verbally. I work in customer service and I’m not being a Karen when I say that tips are a choice, not an obligation, especially at a buffet where the most that was done for us was being given waters and the check. I would never pressure any customer to tip me because that’s extremely unprofessional. I’m not sure if the guy thought by being rude he could pressure us into tipping but the only thing he received from his attitude and unprofessional demeanor is a bad review and a gross image. I’m happy that my bf stood up for himself and still said no to a tip that was 100% undeserved after the way we were treated tonight. Pretty sure the man was the owner too. I’m not sure why he has a job, nevermind a place in leadership. The food wasn’t good, most of it was warm at best even when it was just put out and the older food was cold, over cooked and overpriced. Me and my bf are still laughing at how stupid the man sounded

Very happy that we found this place in Boynton! At a Chinese Buffet I don’t expect a “gourmet” experience yet I feel this deserves 5-stars because it had a wide selection of very tasty and well prepared appetizers and dishes. The pork with mushrooms was delicious as were the dumplings and broccoli dishes. All the food trays were well stocked and we enjoyed it for what it is. Will definitely be back now that we’re spending our first winter in Florida.

Bugs must be on the menu as there are so many of them. Now I really like chinese food but this place always looks busy but the reviews almost all mention bugs. Why? Then the owner/mgr.runs after customers who do not leave a large enough tip.some day someone who he chases into the parking lot will put him down on his butt. This time when I went the hot food was cold and dried out. The cold items were warm, but dried out. So, if I want a good buffet I will go around the corner to Golden Corral, Not chinese but a great buffet. Last time I will go here.

My parents frequented this restaurant for many years and it was a favorite of mine when I came to visit. I recently moved down here to stay with my dad and was told the reviews for here were terrible. I’m so glad we took the chance tonight to check it out again. The food was fresh, hot and tasty as always. The staff was consistently cleaning all areas. Only thing missing was the king crab legs but there was enough variety to enjoy. We will be going back again like we have for years.

Food was awful. No flavor, very bland, over cooked, and just overall not good. The dessert was not good either. The waiter seemed annoyed that he had to pick up our plates, as if he was doing anything else for us.

Would come here for the shrimp and lobster sauce alone. Overall great meal, $8.99. No complaints about the service. Just pretend you are visiting a foreign country.

Eat here often food is good and always fresh for the level of restaurant, type is better than most food wise

If you're hungry and don't mind putting on a few extra pounds then this place is for you.

I went there and the food was pretty good, however, I took a bite of the sushi and found a bone inside of it, I immediately told the manager and he gave me a very small discount of one dollar, when i asked for a higher discount, he yelled at me and kicked us out and yelled at us saying to never come back, place was crowded and bad service, wouldn’t recommend.

I've been to other Chinese buffet style restaurants, and usually the fare was acceptable and familiar, if a bit ordinary.
While The Kingdom offered varied and plentiful fare at a readily affordable price, everything tasted just a little 'off' to us.ok, make that quite a lot 'off'. My party of 5 all agreed, It wasn't dreadful, just not appetizing, with a curious under-taste we couldn't identify. I don't recommend this place nor will I dine there again.
