Always the best experience. Courteous and professional staff. Well run and timely office with minimal to no wait time. Dr Maes is the best!

I started going to Dr. Maes a few years ago. On my first appointment I told him I needed bilateral knee replacement. He told me I had to loose. Weight. I lost the weight I was told I needed. Now two years later he tells me it ‘s the shape of my legs. He now says he won’t do surgery on someone who has Lymphadena. I had it two years ago and he didn’t even mention it would be a problem. Now he backs out because he isn’t confident in his surgical skills. He has his wife in the room to back up the lie when he denied telling me two months ago that he would schedule me but it would be in December before he could do it. I wouldn’t trust a surgeon who lacks confidence and lies to a patient for two years while getting money from their insurance company for shots that don’t really help. I could have been going to a surgeon who is confident enough to do a challenging procedure.

Loved the staff! Had a great experience. I had new patient paperwork and was allowed to pick it up and fill it out at home. So when arrived, everything was great! Saw the Doc and felt like talking with a friend! Got 2 shots in hand for trigger finger and I have felt a little relief! I am hopeful this works but if not he will operate which I am ok with.

I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Maes. I was impressed with his knowledge and the time he took explaining things to me. His staff was also pleasant and professional!

Everyone was excellent, from the front desk to Kristy. Dr Maes was fantastic, taking the time to listen and ask/answer questions. If you need an orthopedic surgeon, you could not do better than Dr Kirk Maes and his office!

I feel like I'm being taken care of by family. Everyone gives undivided attention to you.

Never again. Called for appointment and told person I spoke to it was for my back. She booked me 6 weeks out for this doctor. Went for appointment he came in, very personable. Asked what was going on. Cut me off very abruptly and said “I got nothing for you. I don’t do backs”. The rest of the visit, which was very short, he was very cavalier, flippant, and rude when I asked if he could just do X-rays. He would not. As he was hurrying my friend and I out the door I said “is it possible that it will just clear up on its own. He snidely said “do you pray. ”
Total waste of time. No exam. Just based his conclusion on my description of pain. Told me to see a spine surgeon. Never been treated like that by any doctor any where. And I’ve have been to doctors from all over the country.

Love this doc. Dr Maes is a good listener. He gave me amply time to discuss options. Treated me in office and significantly reduced my chronic pain. Will only go to him

The most tragic experience of my life. Reported Dr. Maes to Medicare. My opinion, He is the most incompetent Doctor I have ever encountered
