Koa Poke and Burrito reviews
16 The freshest and best Poke bowl
anywhere! My favorite is spicy tuna and crab but you can't go wrong with any protein! The arugula is my healthy base but the sushi rice is absolutely to die for! I like spicy so I add extra spicy tuna sauce and Kim Chee! I also love to add edamame, mango and the pickled cucumber as well as all the seaweed options and topped with tobiko, ginger, ponzu and spicy tuna! 11/10 star poke we love that we can get a cup of sake too!
Good Poke just off Ocean Drive. Wasn't Hawaiian quality but pretty good with some south Florida specific topping options.
PICTURES 2/3 are from another place.
Great disappointment. I’m from San Antonio and a huge fan of poke bowls. First thing we noticed-price. 20$ for 2 scoops bowl is a lot but it might be good, we thought. However, not only they don’t have a lot add-ons options, they also not trying to fill the bowl with available ones. Cashier literally was counting slices of radish she put on, like come on, its 90cents per lb. And you’re counting slices. Bowl was half full and 3/4 of this bowl was rice.
For reference, pics 2/3 thats how you get 2 scoops in SA for 13$. I’m not comparing prices here, its Miami. But we definitely didn’t expect the bowl to be made that poorly for this money. Pure robbery. Def won’t be back ever again
20$ for this small acai bowl? Blueberries and rapsberries were frozen. Under that just a bit of acai, almost no granola or anything else. Very dissaponting and not worth the money.
Best açaí bowl and spicy tuna avocado bowl I ever had. Staff was super friendly too. Should have taken pictures but we ate it too quickly!
This is the by far the freshest and most delicious poke I’ve had in Miami I’ve been here a few times and it never disappoints!
The staff are friendly and helpful and the restaurant is immaculately clean.
I really like the “build your own bowl” option. So far I’ve had spicy salmon and lobster poke bowls and the seafood is always fresh and tender.
I also love the variety of veggies, sauces, oils and topics like the crispy shallots, ponzu sauce and sesame oil. They have acai bowls, premade poke bowls and sushi burritos which I look forward to trying soon!
We just went to Koa for the second time. I couldn’t recommend it any more! Fabulous fresh food, amazing service, friendly staff. A must if you’re in the area!
Excellent poke bowls with high quality ingredients. Small portions, though. Plenty Poke in South Beach has larger portions of better or equal quality
Food as tasty, but their portion sizes are extremely small for the price and they are not the most friendly staff you’ll encounter in Miami. As far as the Poke, I would give it a 7 out of 10, but the price and minimal amount of sushi rice was very disappointing.
My family and I each had a bowl, which we all very much liked. Kao Poke and Burrito advertises their fish to be never frozen, which I do believe. It tasted great. The service was excellent too. I did not like the atmosphere of the place however. It made me think more of a cantina than an actual restaurant. The place is quite expensive too, even for Miami. Would still consider coming back.
Delicious eaten! Lots of choice and a very large bowl. Which you can easily eat with two people.
Really good food here. Super fresh and delicious. I built my own burrito and basically had everything. Super friendly staff too!
I really enjoyed the different food options they had here. For instance, you can add siracha to your sushi. From premade poke and sushi rolls to build your own roll or bowl, there are tons of options to choose from. The food was super fresh, the ingredients were good quality, and the line moved very quickly. I liked it.
Koa Poke and Burrito is an excellent Asian food option for the strong heat of Miami Beach. The place offers fresh combinations with excellent flavor and reasonable price. I recommend the bowl where you can combine your flavors. Enjoy!
I had a good experience at this restaurant. The salmon and tuna bowl was delicious and the staff was very friendly. I highly recommend it!
Overpriced, slow, terrible customer service and don’t expect “the manager” to make things better either. They have a don’t care attitude about them. It’s the Miami Beach vibe where they have zero customer service whatsoever. It’s all about money money with them. It takes the joy out of eating out. Find yourself another poke/sushi place to go to. Avoid this place at all cost no pun intended.
Ps: To the owner that responded to my review. People don’t mind paying for things as long as they’re getting what they’re paying for. Customers can complain if they had a bad experience at your place. Do better instead of responding negatively. Without customers you wouldn’t be in business.
