I am very pleased with the PGT Winguard vinyl impact windows that Koehler installed for us to replace our original aluminum windows. Our new windows are an improvement over our old windows which were drafty and sweated during cold weather. The new windows are more energy efficient and aesthetically pleasing as well. We also have the peace of mind knowing that we don’t have to shutter the windows during a hurricane. Since we live on the water there were certain things we wanted done for the installation. Koehler was very receptive to our desires and did everything we asked, including helping us get the PGT rebate. We have some more windows that need replacing in the near future and Koehler will be our choice.

Men worked hard, fast, and smart. Windows look good and work well. Salesman was professional, responsive, and knowledgable. Costs were reasonable. Followup was quick and thorough. Would recommend Koehler Home.

Koelher Homes was very easy to work with. They did a great job of communicating and ensuring the job was completed well. I would definitely recommend them for windows (which is what we purchased) or any other product and services they offer.

Kory and Christine were excellent. Kory answered any questions, after the initial visit, that I had. Christine was instrumental in assisting me with getting the final walk-through scheduled, after the installation, when my work scheduled was not flexible for a week day walk-through. I contacted her with the issue and she had it resolved in less than 15 min, then she contacted me back. Honestly, the whole experience was phenomenal - from Kory to the Installers to Christine, I wish all businesses ran this way!

We've had a great experience so far. We truly appreciate the professionalism displayed by their staff and their procedures, and we especially like that they do not employ any high pressure tactics. It is great knowing that we have a Project Consultant, Cory, who has worked with us from the start, and who will be our point of contact throughout the process. Highly recommend for these and many other reasons! (Quality products, fair prices, and great warranty!)

I appreciated the fact that I would receive emails letting me know that I had not been forgotten. I realize that supply chain issues have gone up since the pandemic. The installer was very professional and was able to install the windows quickly with very little or no issues. I would definitely recommend Koehler.

The gentlemen that came out to install were very professional. They took the time to listen to and answered all my questions. I was so impressed with their proficiency and getting right on the job as soon as they arrived. I will most definitely refer family and friends if needing windows replaced.

We contacted Koehler Homes to replace all the windows and the sliding glass door in our house. From the beginning, Cory was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable and took his time explaining the differences between the various windows and window types the Koehler offers as well as what to expect during the process. We are at the beginning of this project, but we are confident that we made the right choice. If you are looking for a professional and fairly priced company to install your windows, then look no further than Koehler Homes.

Big Window (24) and Door (2) Project

Supply chain issues, inspection issues, communication, front door still not finished, I still give them 5 stars.

Prices from Koehler were some of the most reasonable and affordable. Because of supply chain issues, Cory did warn us of the delay we would experience.

Took over 6 months to get windows but it was worth it. They scheduled 3 days for the install, took the crew a day and a half. The three-man crew was absolutely amazing.

Love my windows so much, hired them to replace my front and back doors. There is a manufacturer flaw with my front door. They tried to repair it but are having to order a brand new one…still waiting.

I wish communication was better. A status update would be helpful, whether they can give you a timeframe or not, it would let the customer know you haven't forgotten about them. Example: they tried to repair the front door January 11th, was told they needed to order a new one, have heard nothing since.

Overall, Koehler is a company worth doing business with. I still have one more non-standard sized door to replace, when I'm ready Koehler will be my first call.

Abbey and Cory were amazing to work with. My initial phone call they asked all the right questions and had all the right answers to my questions. They scheduled me a free in home consultation and the consult couldn’t have gone better. It truly was a wonderful experience. We got quotes from 5 places and we went with Koehler! After a thorough research on different companies and quotes, I ended up using Koehler Homes for my new window replacement company and these were based on outstanding reviews, the pricing and a big one for me is using your own window installers which I was told they do. The window choices they offer are also excellent which is another reason I went with them.

The timeframe between ordering the windows and the window replacement was about 8 months for us. We proceeded with the order in March 2022 and had them installed in November right before Thanksgiving. I’m fairly satisfied with the whole process but I had numerous mishaps and mistakes on this job. I will point out that Koehler Homes did respond to my issues but I will address them individually.

On the day of the installation the crew showed up late due to some loading issues but got started fairly quickly. Before starting the removal of the windows I pointed out I had wired in alarm contacts installed on my old windows and to ensure they’re not damaged. The main installer was awesome and I already forgot his name but during the window removal process, the 2nd helper wasn’t told about the alarm contacts and ripped one of the main wires right out of the wall. Before leaving they asked if they could store the remaining windows behind my house on my concrete patio which replied no problem.

On day 2 a different helper was with the main installer and I will point out as they remove the window they replace the window. In chatting with the main installer I asked how long have you been working with Koehler homes and he said Koehler uses him all the time but he was a sub-contractor. My first red flag with Koehler since they told me they use their own installers.

When they got started I could see a difference between the two installers, meaning one was more cautious in removing the windows and the 2nd installer was really aggressive removing the windows. When the 2nd installer ripped the window out of my bathroom he damaged the tile ledge, which I have no replacement tile for a 18 year old bathroom. When they were installing the last big picture window I noticed something black all over my concrete patio with black foot prints on different spots on my patio, when he saw me looking at it he said apparently when the window manufacturer packaged the windows for shipment they placed some black touch-up paint on the bottom of the window. So when they placed them on my patio the touch-up paint bottle broke and they didn’t realize it until a mess was made.

Moving on, as they were finishing up with the final installation the installer said since I have arch windows he needed the pre molded pieces to finish the outside trim before caulking. So they need to order them. I also noticed a massive amount of overspray on the inside of my windows and also on the outside. I ordered windows black on the outside and white on the inside. I noticed this when I was cleaning the finger prints off the glass and also noticed a scratch on my picture window also. This was on the two big windows on the back of my house.

So now we’re on the service after the installation. After receiving no calls I made numerous phone calls to get the ball rolling on my arch trim pieces, the cracked tile ledge, the paint mess all over my patio, and the paint overspray and scratched glass. I needed to make a dozen phone calls on my own to get things rolling and they were apologetic on that failure to follow up. As of now the tile was fixed to my satisfaction with glaze repair, the window trim pieces for my arch were ordered for weeks and have been installed, I asked them to just purchase a gallon of the concrete sealer to paint over the black touch-up paint spill on my patio which was delivered, and still waiting on touch up paint for one of the windows and a replacement window for the window with the overspray and scratched window.

My main critique on Koehler Homes is they are deeply lagging on the follow up process. I had to initiate all the phone calls to them to get the ball rolling. More to follow

Cory and his team did a phenomenal job working with us while navigating the policies of the historic district for Avondale. Cory took lead in the process and made it much easier on us.

I can’t say enough good things about our window installation! Tom, Dylan and the other guys made it as painless as possible. They were professional, courteous, and hard working! They kept the mess to a minimum. I felt very comfortable with them in our home and around our pets for the few days they were here. I was grateful that they reinstalled our blinds brackets since the new windows are larger than the old. Tom went above and beyond by fixing a couple of things that weren’t even related to the windows. (I was so pleasantly surprised!) Our new windows in our whole house look AMAZING! I am so happy!

I have been waiting on replacement glass for windows installed five months ago that have scratches noted by the company. I was told it would take two months. They are not responding to emails or phone calls when I ask about the status. I plan to visit their office this week and will update my review if I am able to talk with them.

Koehler’s windows team and exterior painter Daniel were excellent to work with! Very good customer service and I loved their dedication to flawless execution! I would recommend Koehler Homes for all your home improvements!

Had such a great experience with these guys! Cory my rep, front office and installers were all amazing. They were super responsive and on point every bit of the way through my renovation. Would suggest them for any of you window and door needs.

Although we had a tiny issue with the installation crew being messier than we would like, when we mentioned it, Josh responded immediately and made us whole in about 5 minutes.
Problems happen, but the response is what counts, and Koehler without hesitation made it right. No argument, no, "well, what had happened was. " Just said they were sorry it happened and fixed it.
We need more work at our house and Koehler will be the team we call, full stop.
Also, the sales team is fantastic, they take the time you need to decide, and no more. They have all the brands and manufacturers and can definitely fit your needs and budget.
I wish everything had been smooth, but ultimately the truth of Koehler was shown when they had a chance to do right by the customer, even if it cost them money. They did the right thing, and what else can anyone ask from a business?
