Restaurant Kooky Coconut reviews
14The victuals proved splendid, and the ministrations exceeded expectation. 'Tis a fine establishment for partaking in a hasty repast upon returning from the shore. I shall assuredly return henceforth.
My girl and I stopped in after 2 hours on Indian Rocks Beach and took a look at all the tasty handmade local ice creams. We decided to share (well, I think the intention was to share, but I told you Daisy, the ice cream doesn't stop melting just because you need to wee, so I made a choice, and I stand by it) a single scoop chocolate peanut butter cone. However, when the nice young lady handed it to me, it was clearly more ice cream than that. Holding the cone at arms length and squinting to soften the edges, it looked a bit like an elephant trying to squeeze into size 6 skinny jeans. I asked to confirm that I did, in fact, order the single scoop. She smiled sweetly and assured me it was. And that is exactly how you guarantee a repeat visit, AND change your tip from the leftover coins from your purchase, to a solid 35% in greenbacks. Highly recommended. (Daisy also recommends the tiny shells and trinkets near the restrooms. We saw one that had an etching of a mermaid on it, unless you rotated it 90 degrees, where it looked more like a group of boys dancing around a campsite in animal costumes. Either way, good times.)
Kooky is one of my absolute favorite place to eat on the island!
Of course there other amazing places but the Cuban sandwiches here are the most delicious I've ever had in my life! I visit twice a year but that's not enough!
Kooky coconut we have beef u forgot my salsa first time and second time u put like zero meat in it and second time it was kinda bomb actually and u put a lot of meat in it but I said no tomatoes. And you PUT TOMATOES.we r BEEFING BRO.
Great little restaurant by the beach. Good cubans and awesome ice cream. The coconut one was the best
Love everything about this place! We have been coming here for years and years. Best Cuban sandwiches I've ever had!
Small, local, place to eat, sandwiches, hand dipped ice cream, fresh-made food. Seating inside and outside under umbrellas. Large portion! 3 of us split a sandwich
Me and my family went here and it was a very welcoming place with lots of options. The food was very good and a well maintained restaurant. It was a bit crammed but otherwise I would say nothing but good things about this place!
Amazing food! We had a Cuban and some tacos. Absolutely delicious! Will be back again on this trip
Nice local experience. Cubans are good, and wide selection of ice cream for dessert. Thanks for a delicious lunch.
Great spot for lunch. Good selection of sandwiches and ice cream treats for everyone. I was a regular in 2016 and brought the family here for the first time seven years later. They loved the beach bum vibe.
Our favorite spot for ice cream after the sunset! Good selection of ice cream and treats. Parking and a nice patio in the back of the shop.
Delicious and unique flavors in a small roadside ice cream shack. There’s a beach access point right behind it, so you can visit off the street or off the beach. We’ll definitely be back!
