Super fun place to have a meal. Can’t get enough of the onion volcano. The sake spray bottle was fun also.

The menu at Koto is a delightful journey through Japanese cuisine, offering a variety of sushi, sashimi, and hibachi grill options that cater to all tastes. The skilled chefs are not just masters of the grill, but also entertainers who put on a captivating show as they prepare your meal right in front of you.

The hibachi experience is both delicious and visually stunning. The choicest cuts of meat, the freshest seafood, and a medley of vegetables are expertly cooked to perfection. As flames dance and knives skillfully slice and dice, you're treated to a culinary performance that engages all your senses.

The sushi and sashimi options at Koto are equally impressive, with an array of creative rolls and impeccably fresh fish. The attention to detail and artistic presentation make every dish a work of edible art.

The chefs do a great job entertaining guests with their skills and tricks while they cook up some good food. In our visit, all the food was a bit too heavily spiced. The meats were cooked to just the right doneness, but the veggies were mixed, with some under-cooked.

The general atmosphere of the place is good, but the din of the crowded hibachi dining room is practically overwhelming. A neighbor at the next table tapped me in the shoulder to ask me to tell the waiter something because neither could hear the other. Maybe some acoustic treatments on the room surfaces could help?

Good hibachi choices, and the menu has a lot of sushi choices that we did not try. Maybe the nose level in other dining rooms is better.

Have been here many times! Food is always good! Have had plenty of sushi and the hibachi dinner show.

I visited this location on South Howard today and had the worst experience. My coworkers and I have eaten here many times before and was never an unpleasant experience. Today our server acted like we was a bother just to seat us. He barely said anything to us. My food was over cooked but they did
Make it over. As we was leaving the sever yelled where’s the tip! Then said never come back again! Well we definitely won’t after that horrible experience!

I called to place an order I’ve heard so many great things about this place unfortunately that was not the case for me! So first thing I’m not even from this area let me start with that and I’m very iffy with eating hibachi but I wanted to give it a try. I called to place an order and was told I couldn’t because I worked for a company that had disputed transactions in the past and that I would need to pay with cash “ mind you my company never disputed transactions” and I never said where I worked at. As I stated before I’m not from the area so I rarely travel with cash I only had a card on me at the time. There is no sign that says I must pay in cash I’m highly disappointed and I felt discriminated against. The way I was handled over the phone was ridiculous.

I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner here. If you walk away hungry, you’re doing something wrong! I would recommend the Filet Mignon Hibachi.

We had reservations and had to wait 45 minutes. Also, we had a large party of 13 and the way the hibachi grills are set up, some of our party were not able to see the full performance. The food was ok, but the salad was just thrown in a bowl and smothered in dressing. They over charged us for 2 sodas but was more than happy to remove it from our bill. We had a birthday in our party and it seemed to me it was very loud.

Great tepanyak/hibachi food. Reasonable prices and the service was very good. I'll go back.

The hibachi was delicious and entertaining, the staff was very kind, and Chef Cody let me cook behind the grill which was an awesome experience!

I was looking for an alternative to Kobe Steakhouse, and although this is sort of similar, the meat was not at all. Kobe beef melts in your mouth, but the steak (and even the chicken) are chewy. If I go back, it’s going to be a vegetarian meal. Everything else was ok.

Did not expect that the sushi would only come with 2 pieces, regarding the fact they are $7.95 per order. One roll of sushi, 2 miso soups and 3 orders of the salmon+yellowtail accounted to around $45. Insane. Would have never purchased if I knew I paying damn near $4 per piece. And honestly wouldn’t be mad if it was great tasting sushi, but honestly calling it mid would be a compliment. Miso soup was bland, I mean I can boil water at home too. Don’t know about the dine-in experience but takeout was very disappointing. I mean there’s just better options at this price point.

Coming here for years, but the quality and service is suffering. A steady decline in competent service and management. Lower quality fish, the tuna today looked dry and gray tint Didn't taste it, can't risk getting sick. The tuna tartare was served with Pringles (out of the can) instead of wonton chips.

Food was on point and drinks.
However the music was very loud and annoying. The waitress looked overwhelmed and over worked.
Other than that all was fine.
