La Bamba Mexican and Spanish Restaurant reviews
11I used to eat there a few years ago, but today I was not happy, I had to ropa veya (spelling probably wrong) n it was so salty I couldn't even eat it, plus the price on the menu stated 11$ n I was charge 16+$ nI couldn't even eat it. Do yourself a favor eat somewhere else.
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC recommendation from a friend! Friendly atmosphere, service, and food! A well do again!
LaBamba in Delray never disappoints. It was obvious they were missing staff, but still produced delightful food, extremely ample servings and first class service.
The restaurant was clean.
The food was delicious and servings generous.
The service was great.
It was a very good dining experience.
I went here when I was in town visiting my brother and I was extremely impressed. The Pollo a la Plancha was absolutely delicious. What's even more impressive is the fact that I've been to the La Bambas in Plantation literally hundreds of times and the Pollo a la Plancha here was the same as the one I used to get at the other La Bambas. To me, that shows consistency in the kitchen and adhering to the family recipes that made La Bambas a staple of South Florida and why they have been around for a long time and why they will continue to be around for a long time to come. Keep up the great work! Oh, and the margaritas are fantastic too!
This place should be called La Perfect because that's what it is! The food, atmosphere, ambiance, staff, etc. All great! Love love love!
Worst shrimp ever…. Serious freezer burn after taste. Would not recommend for seafood. Pork was dry.highly surprise considering their sister site in Broward is much better overall.
A recent lunch was less than stellar. The green chicken enchiladas were over cooked and a gooey mess on the plate with the consistency of soft serve ice cream. The chips and salsa were adequate adequate although they now charge for refills and it takes a very long time to get any kind of service.
Carmon was our server. Being a server is not her spiritual gift. She never was available for drink refills and when we did manage to tackle her to ask for drink refills and more chips and salsa, she then walked across the room and spent the next five minutes talking to the other servers. Finally, email server happened by and we were able to get him to bring us another basket of chips. If he even took forever to get the bill where we had been charged for the chips and salsa refill, not once but twice. Trying to find Carmen to rectify this situation took so long we eventually gave up and deducted the overcharge from her tip. Tipping Carmon is an act of charity to begin with. She is really exceedingly terrible at her job.
The best Mexican & Latin food in Delray. Try the coconut margarita, palomilla steak and a fried ice cream!
I’m not the type of person to leave reviews but I simply had to after this atrocity came in. I ordered a cheese enchilada dinner from the DoorDash app and what came in looked nothing like what was in the picture. I had to make sure I had the right order after seeing it. It looked liked they just gave me the scraps from the fridge and called it a day. It had such an excessive amount of cheese that honestly made me sick and made my stomach hurt. It was glued to the rice and my “enchilada” was just tortilla and cheese all mixed together and glued to the rice. I picked apart the food and tasted it and it was just horrible. I was really looking forward to the order but was severely disappointed. Maybe the “in restaurant” experience is better than this but there is no reason that I got what I got. The DoorDash credits I got was simply not enough. I want to order from here again because the food looks really good but if they are just going to give me mediocre poorly packed and poorly prepared “food”, I’ll take my business elsewhere. Taco Bell ironically has better food and would never give me “trash” like this.
