La Catrina Tacos & Tequila Bar, St. Augustine

The staff are wonderful and the food is good. The prices are very reasonable. The reason for a 3 for atmosphere is the lighting. The ceiling is covered in small lights that give a strobe effect. Very different!

The food here was definitely above average for your standard Mexican restaurant. The Berria tacos were lacking a little bit of flavor, but the table side guacamole was delicious, and no complaints about the margarita pitchers. Overall 4/5

First time coming here and we will be back. The salsa and table side guacamole were excellent. The birra tacos were recommended to us. I am glad I went with the recommendation as they were very delicious.

My order was wrong and the manager not only fixed my order but delivered it to me.excellent customer service!

I went here the day before, and the service and food was on point. But the next day, I placed my order through Uber Eats but to pick it up myself. The app said that my order may be ready due to the estimated time. When I go there I ask the host about my order (gave her my name) she goes and look up front on the ledge where I guess they place orders at and tell me it's not there and goes in the back. Comes back up and tells me it will be ready shortly. I sat and waited about 15 minutes and went and ask the other host that was now there about my order. The gentleman goes back up from and finds it, the same bag that's been there when I came in. I asked to have a fresh order made since it had up there for a good 20 -30 minutes. The manager comes and assures me it won't be long. It took them 5 minutes. I got home and realized all they did was warm up my old order and put it in a new bag. I figured that's what happened, but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. I want be back.

A very unique Mexican bar and restaurant. But the food feels a bit salty, maybe the taste is different. Next time I go there, I will tell the waiter not to make it too salty.

Food was great. The place is wonderfully decorated. Even though the food was spot on. I did find wire in my food itwas the wire found wrapped arround vegetables. I don't mind mustakes.the thing was nothing was said after I showed what was in my food. I would at the very least an apology from the manager. But the food was great handling mistakes were not.

My favorite Mexican restaurant that's close to home.

Excellent all around! Had the queso first then the quesadilla, fajitas, burrito and tacos and every single thing was fantastic. Service was great and it’s cute on the inside! If we lived closer this would be a family staple.

This was a great experience. Clean and friendly staff. My favorite part of our experience was the blended margs. It was the perfect amount Alc to drink. Plus the food was great and the taco salad really impressed us.

Redone entire interior and barstools are now way more comfortable. New menu too! Really like the ambiance now. Great place for Mexican food and a really nice ambiance and bar area.

Visited at the end of October, later in the evening on a Saturday night. The place wasn’t to busy and we were seated right away which was great. The decor is great, murals on the wall, very colorful, my daughter loved the extra large skeletons outside. Our server was great, very attentive and spoke Spanish which is something I always look forward to when I go to a Latin restaurant. I had two types of steak tacos and a pork, my partner had the shrimp and steak quesadilla that was drenched in cheese and we shared the ceviche appetizer, our server also brought our chips and salsa. I wish I would have saved space for dessert, maybe next time!

Clean, crisp, delicious, filling and the music rocks! Wife and kids loved it and we cannot wait to share this experience with our family that will be in town soon thank you guys! See you again soon

Great place with great food at greater price.awesome service even that it was a little slow because full place but really friendly and didn't show the stress of full restaurant.will come back soon.
