La Fiesta Tacos and Tequila, Lake City FL

Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, amazing service, amazing decorations, just overall amazing. I can't say it enough. I recently had lunch with my two Moms at La Fiesta. This is the first time in a long time where I've been completely "wowed" by all aspects of my experience. From getting out of the car and walking up and seeing the fresh paint on the building, to walking in the front door and seeing all the artwork on the tables and chairs, to being greeted by several different staff members, to our chips and salsa and appetizers, to the amazing meals (the menu item with the steak, chicken, sausage, scallops and shrimp is FANTASTIC! A huge meal and value.) just all of the entire experience, the orchid garnish on the margaritas, the fresh guacamole and the sweet young lady who made it the great service and knowledgeable server, the delicious flan afterwards! 5 stars, all the way, I've already been back since the first time and I plan to go again on my birthday in May. Fantastic meals, value, atmosphere, experience, all of it!

I just visited La Fiesta again, today, May 9th, for my birthday. I had lunch with friends and family and the food, service, drinks, atmosphere were excellent! This was my 4th visit and every single time I dined here I was continually wowed and amazed at the entire experience. I know other establishments have been in this location, but just know, from a lifelong manager in the hospitality business, that this place is the real deal. Great value and portion sizes combined with fantastic, authentic, flavors and a beautiful restaurant inside and out. The artwork on the tables, booths, chair backs, bar stools, and walls are all visually stunning. This is easily Lake City's best Mexican restaurant and one of the best restaurants in town no matter the cuisine.

This place is awesome! The staff is so friendly. One huge thing are the accommodations they make when you have dietary needs (including skinny margaritas!). I’ll be back!

The art, the staff and the food are all phenomenal. The taco salad is beyond delicious, as is their salsa and house made chips. Can't wait to come back to try the margaritas! Was lucky enough to get seated at the table with Frida Kahlo art

Great food. Great drink. The atmosphere is very nice and Latino. There is a woman who makes guacamole on a small cart, who visits table to table. Portions are generous. Full bar. A must visit! Rivals Salsa's.

We waited 40 mins, understanding it was Cinco de mayo, once we got to the table it took 30 mins to get a glass of water, and another 30 mins to get the food on the table. And the server spoke no English, and server upcharged us to LG 13.99 margaritas instead of 8.99 big difference I did not ask for a lg, because she spoke no English we could not communicate. I'll stick to other one down the street alteast they speak English

Truly wonderful authentic food. The rice & beans are freshly prepared and that in itself was a pleasant surprise! The steak & shrimp was delicious and service was great. A+.

Food was bland, it had no flavor. Very disappointing. But the decor was fabulous! Staff was friendly.

Have been here a couple of times and always leave happy. The waitstaff is excellent. The only complaint about food is there is always too much (though eating leftovers the next day is a nice extra).
The owners did an excellent job with the decor.
Can't wait to be back (but not until I finish my leftovers!)

If, you are in the mood for Mexican food.this place is great!

Authentic atmosphere. Very poor customer service. Waited an hour plus to receive an appetizer we asked three times, had to get my own silverware from the host stand, the bus boy kept coming to our table with the wrong food, and the host seemed to normalize the long wait times for food. The food was left under the heat lamp for too long so guacamole was brown by the time I got it. But they can cook shrimp.

The table side Guacamole is a MUST! All the food was excellent and our server went above and beyond to take care of us! 100% recommended as the new go to Mexican restaurant in our area!
