LA Fitness, Lake Worth Beach FL

I had a great experience at the lantana la fitness. I’ve been to other la fitness locations in the area and this one was by far the best. The staff is amazing and is very helpful. The lifting area was very clean with weights cleaned up and organized. The facilities were very clean and kept in great shape. Anyone considering a membership to la fitness should definitely come to this location.

You don't realize how much music is important to your workout until you don't have it. I usually use the streaming music services and I haven't been able to use them for almost a month at this location because they don't have WiFi.

I have to take this rating down a star not because there's not WiFi but because management at this location has not been responsive to getting it fixed. There's some other things you notice when you go to this location often. Sometimes the clock batteries are dead and so the time is wrong, some noisy machines need maintenance, and sanitizing wipes containers are empty. I'm sure these things happen but you notice them more when they are not looked after for an extended period of time.

The other thing you may notice is trash in the parking lot. Common to see every morning. Might be a good idea to have some trash cans in the parking lot if location managers can do a walk about to clean up.

My 2nd time at this gym I had a medical issue and I am an athlete and JR and Ruth immediately came over and checked my vitals and did not leave until I was ok, I am forever grateful and will now only come to this location.

This gym is focused on auctioning sports memorabilia instead repairing the Wi-Fi that has been out for 2 months and replacing the old, rusty equipment. The a/c in one of the room is broken and the facility teaks. One of treadmills has not been working for a month, The cushion on the leg extension machine has ripped in several areas, which could cause someone to get cut. The trash is always full. The staff sits around and do absolutely nothing. They are not welcoming and makes up excuses for no Wi-Fi. The elderly trainer and a disrespectful. I can go on but, I’m sure you get my point. These are some of the things that should be addressed and corrected asap if I was the owner or manager

Equipment always scheduled for service. Employees are no help and just stare at their phones. God forbid you want to use the basketball court. You and 6 others can be using half of it and a random group of people will have no regard for paying members. They will just bulldoze you over and take up the whole thing for themselves.

Gym was very nice. People were nice but. Used to be a member of a different LA fitness and when I got a call about old members coming back dealer from Austin thought I’d come back. Only issue is I was told over the phone that with returning members my price would be $39.99 a month and no initiation fee and statewide coverage. But when I showed up JR acted like that didn’t exist. Now I’m paying $49.99 a month and had to pay a $25 fee which he “almost forgot” to reduce from $50 before I pointed out the price difference. Understand these guys are paid to sell memberships but kinda threw me off. Just be on point when signing up may try to not give you the price promised.

It was very hot outside and they turned my son and I away to play basketball unless we payed $20 each to use. Where is the humanization being one could die playing in this heat. Will never recommend or join this gym.

Join here if you like being filmed by “influencers” with tripods set up all over the gym. Pretty sure filming in the facility violates la fitness’ membership agreement, yet management does nothing. I can understand the occasional filming of a PR or to check your form, but entire workouts with tripods? Hey corporate why don’t team members enforce the rules and regs?

Nice staff, but crowded with some rusty equipment. The fact that they have a pool is great! But, it is a bit grungy and needs more frequent care.

Satisfied in general for quick workouts.

Great environment, i prefer this location because other location feel overwhelming pack with people. While here you can definitely get on to a machine or weights when possible.

I wish it would stay open longer on weekends since I paid a lot of money but it is what it is

My wife and I are enrolled in planet fitness. We were planning to switch to LA Fitness and decided to free trail for 3 days. We made the request on the web and we called to go and everything was fine, but when we got there at the time of check-in they told us that we had to go to see Miss Amanda. Who offered us the plans and promotions we had and she told us that if we didn't pay any plan we couldn't use the free trail. We told her that today we only wanted to use the free trail and if we liked the facilities, tomorrow we would go to register. Miss Amanda told us "what was the problem? Why didn't we pay today? That if our company hadn't paid us today and would pay us tomorrow? " This seemed rude to us. She made us very uncomfortable with the pressure that we had to pay her today. In the end we requested to do a tour and to let us see the gym she kept our IDs. In short, the free trail was a complete lie, misleading advertising to make you go there and pressure you to pay them.

I enjoy working out and I'm never bothered its my metal fitness place where i can do what i need to do. Ot has changed and its better than ever.

Love this Gym location and excited for the new remodel! The new operations manager Jaylee always has a smile, is friendly and very helpful, staff are also great and willing to go the extra mile to help you!

Clean and friendly environment! And the manger in the front Jaylee she’s always so helpful and full of energy. I have closer la’s near me but this one makes me feel best in my work outs. I’d recommend this gym

LA Fitness- get your act together. The dumbbell weight racks are disorganized all the time, the floors haven’t been vacuumed or mopped as there is dirt and dust mounds everywhere, pads on equipment are in bad shape, stretch mats are tired and falling apart, same T-bar row machine has sat out of service for over 2 years- C’mon Man!

As everyone knows, the gym can be a vulnerable part of anyone’s day. With that being said, the staff at this location are very positive and the entire management team here are friendly and helpful (Jaylee, Austin, Emilio) - making it such an enjoyable experience. I recommend this location 1000%!
