LA Fitness, Palm Beach Gardens FL

I went to this LA fitness for the past year. This gym is relatively inexpensive and you get what you pay for. I would not consider this a "signature" gym compared to other gyms around the area. Staff is fantastic; Josue was charismatic and signed me up hassle-free. The Gym has most equipment you'll ever need, and the turf section is decent for warming up and doing more crossfit-style workouts.
There are areas that need improvement. Starting with the sauna. Unfortunately, the sauna has not worked since June of 2023 and there seems to be no rush to fix it. Another issue is cleanliness. They do have one janitor, but he seems to be there more for show versus doing anything involving cleaning. There's dust in more areas than not on the equipment. The main reason I ported away was due to men's hair in the shower drains that never seemed to go away, even though the janitor would constantly be "cleaning" the bathrooms at the busiest times in the morning. The last concern is safety. There's a lot of young adults from surrounding high schools that come in packs to the gym at the busiest times. Nothing wrong with that, except I've seen groups of guys climbing onto the leg press machines where the weights should be while their buddy tries to press them. It was pretty funny, but I was shocked that the employees didn't do anything to stop this. There's constant shenanigans from these groups during the busiest times.
All in all, it's a fine gym for the price point. There are several concerns, but you're paying $40 per month. You get what you should expect.

I loved this LA fitness. I felt like royalty. So many machines and spotless showers/locker room.

Its filled with highschoolers just socializing no matter what time you go. They just sit at a bench or squat rack like theyre the only ones who want to work out.

The men’s sauna has been broken for about 8 months. This is absurd for any member who is paying a monthly fee for a gym to have equipment that works!

The Sauna has now been broken/out of order for about 5 months.
No one can tell you when it will be fixed.

Save your money.

I have a free gym at my quarters but this is way worth every penny.

I was approaching 70 years old and noticed that I had lost my muscle and flexibility. I was having trouble, sitting and rising from a chair, getting in and out of my car and could not rise up from a kneeling position unless I was helped.
I thought about hiring a trainer but thought that they only train body builders. My mistake. Then I decided “I might as well build muscle, maybe that will help me”. I was assigned Nick as my trainer. I told him about my flexibility problems. His knowledge of the skeletal-muscle system in the body was phenomenal! We started to work on flexibility with a little strength training. After a few months, most of my flexibility problems (mentioned above) have vanished. Nick has been a lifesaver for me. Be forewarned though, this has been the hardest work outs I have ever done in my life but as I have said, the results have been phenomenal!

Was going to sign up at this location but needed to get some information regarding a previous membership that had expired because I was having issues with money at the time. Called one picked up the phone click.called twice and was immediately hung up on again no please wait one moment no hold just picked up the phone and hanged up on me. That is so bad for business and complety unprofessional. I will not be signing up at this location with staff like that. Change my mind LA Donald Ross

The gym is not bad but the Signature designation is a stretch at best.

After the events in the West Boynton location, the infrared sauna is unsafe. It's time to stop pretending otherwise and convert the sauna to a steam room.

I have worked with different trainers here and the best one I have found is Nick. He is knowledgeable, caring, helpful and adjust his process to the client. I have been working with Nick for over 3 months and have gone down 2 pant sizes. My strength is better and my energy levels much improved.

Nick has helped me so much. He’s a great trainer and he also knows a lot about how to work with injuries. I have a pretty bad shoulder injury and it’s so much better since working with Nick. He’s also very professional and fun to work with

I expect more from this signature club. Compared to the boynton signature location, this gym is dirty, unorganized, and staff are not very friendly. The cardio machines are always nasty, never seem to be cleaned, and a lot are broken.

This gym has so much potential please fix these small but important issues!

THE SAUNA HAS BEEN BROKEN FOR BOTH MEN AND WOMEN FOR OVER 8 MONTHS. WHAT IS THE POINT OF BEING A PART OF THE ELITE CLUB WHEN THEY WONT EVEN FIX THE ONLY THING THAT MAKES IT ELITE? I COULN'T CARE LESS ABOUT YOUR TOWELS. Thee staff is lovely though.

This place should be condemned. Being a “Select” club is a joke. The Alton Town Center with $2M homes nearby should terminate the lease and lure a better managed brand.

This gym has machines that have been out of order for months. The sauna hasn’t been operational in nearly a year, the hot tub is broken, the men’s room smells like urine and there are dust balls everywhere.

When it comes to variety, forget it. All elliptical machines are Matrix. In fact, most machines are Matrix. LA Fitness as a company spends the bare minimum and you get what you pay for, or less.

Worst gym ever it a good gym to go to if you want to get some fungus and can’t get ride go swim in the pool.
