LA Fitness, West Palm Beach FL

I’d say 1/3 of the machines are broken. Been this way for a while. The flat benches also wobble, that’s a lawsuit waiting to happen.

I wanted to explore my options about the membership process but had the major misfortune of speaking to an unprofessional, condescending, miserable (appearing) employee. Have a little professionalism. It's obvious when someone doesn't care about their job, or is having a lousy day, but you don't bring it with you, or at the least, take a class on how you should talk to people in sales/retail. All of my questions were met with disinterest and a snarky attitude. I don't need to hear that as a potential customer.

Oh, and I would assume that there is a mask policy in-place at this location, during the pandemic? This employee was not wearing the mask (not covering nose or mouth), putting me and others at risk. Total waste of time!

I think this is the fourth time I’ve given this rating. It’s a really good place if you’re not picky about what you think you should get in proportion to what you pay for a gym.

Gym is overcrowded and ive tested going at different times. Another major gripe I have here is they have the heavier weights on the top of the rack. Its a PAIN in the butt to put them back after doing a super heavy set and youre exhausted. You have to put them back at a weird angle and if it catches wrong it can bend your wrist. Whoever decided to put the heavier weights on top didnt think it through.

Excellent gym, very clean well equipped with very good staff and knowledgeable personal trainers. Free parking for the first hour. Great location Rosemary Square downtown West Palm Beach.

The manager is great, easy to communicate with and helpful. The facility is clean and staff is genuine and hospitable. Great workout environment.

They need to turn this into an LA Fitness Signature club given the area. This gym is so outdated and crusty.

Be careful signing up, this place makes it almost impossible to cancel, You will go through several loops, and they will even try to force you to come in to cancel, even with the pandemic going on.

Dirty facility, refuse to cancel membership during the pandemic. Require in person meetings with them during the local outbreak, not honoring written cancellation requests.

Mask are required now to even been in the gym which I love. But it’s not happening to good. Lot don’t wear one and staff don’t seem to care! But a lot of us do care and want then to abide by their own rules also mage them wear it or get them out!

Lack of attention to the cleanliness of the place, and the lack of sterilization of the place and tools

Great place to get all your exercises in. They have all machines needed to get your workout in. They also have a pool.

Don’t even go here if you plan to workout longer than 1 hour. I train usually about 2-3 hours. I like to take my time. Why do they charge people to park here? It’s so empty! I was told the parking is busy at night. The gym itself is lovely and the staff is friendly and efficient. Lots of light. The equipment is clean and there’s lots of equipment that are spaced out sufficiently. I would go here more often but LA Fitness can only cover 1 hour of parking for us.

LA fitness is the best gym in South Florida. I've been a member since 2005 and have been to many other gyms around as a guest with friends and I have not found another gym that has such a solid set of equipment. If you are looking for a gym to work out, not to tan, then this is the place to be.

First time and wasn’t given a tour or incentive to join gym. The gym smelled like it had not been cleaned in a long time, and could not find stations to clean equipment. Not impressive.

Been to alot of la fitness facilities. This one by far.the cleanest. Pretty well organized and morning usually isn't packed. Friendly staff. Can be a little tricky getting in and out of here if youre not familiar with the area. If you are visiting for the first time, may I suggest parking in the front and use the parking meters.

After a months of informing the manager of a leg extension machine being defective, finally the put it out of service. It hits the 2nd worst LA Fitness, 1st place, for the worst place to workout it's location is Military and Okeechobee in west palm beach?

It’s an okay gym I like the working out atmosphere there are cons but nothing more than the usual.

Have been going to LA Fitness for over 3 months now. I had noticed for a that the bathroom showers were out of paper towels on several occasion and have voiced my concern but it has happened again few times after that. The staff can be friendlier. The equipment is ok but not so clean.

The manager is extremely RUDE! I WILL NEVER EVER TELL ANYONE TO GO TO THIS GYM. MANAGEMENT SUCKS!
