La Pequena Colombia, Tampa FL

This was definitely an unexpected location for a club but it had great atmosphere, great drinks, great food options, and great music of all kinds. Highly recommend!

La Pequena Colombia has been one of my favorite restaurants since I worked in the Tampa area, going back nearly 10 years.
The inside looks like a Latin American location. Like the ones I ate in when I was overseas.
You feel like you have entered another country. The food is excellent. The baked goods in their display add to the traditional feel. The service is always great with smiling faces and polite, respectful explanations of the menu items in Spanish and English. The dishes are also traditional plates from Central and South America. Many of the young ladies are also gorgeous and reminded this old GI of assignments in exotic locations in past decades.
The owner is a jovial host who will stop by your table and say hello.
If you eat later, you can slide next door and drink and dance in the attached club which is decorated like a movie set in Latin America.
I highly recommend it.

Honestly hands down the best Colombian restaurant in Tampa.decided to give it a try after being disappointed by La Cabana. The only complaint that I had was that the food was cold) :

Pretty good, can't say 5 stars because I do not know Colombian Cuisine too well. I was greeted in Spanish, which made me slight uncomfortable, i do not speak Spanish and they were not really making any effort to speak English. Good or bad? To you to decide.

The best Colombian food around. The Bandeja Paisa and Sancocho are my favorites! Usually service is good but on my last visit, I had this male server try to skimp me on my carne asada, saying “it goes by weight”. I go here too much, I know what I should get jaja

Yum! Happy we stumbled upon this place! Was looking for empanadas and boy o boy did they deliver! Everything was delicious. The coffee was exceptional the dessert spread is heavenly. Highly recommend!

Service, prices and drinks were great, food was good not great but good, excellent overall, im coming back for the music and dancing, good security and parking as well.great place, I had a great time and im coming back.

Been eating here since 2008 and we still live it. I don't live in the Tampa area but we go here every time we pass through this part of Florida.

Make sure there is not a soccer tournament the day you are trying to get a family dinner, is too much tension on the place.
Also, they should have like a doble door to block the sound between the restaurant and the night club. Whe the restaurant close, they can left the door open.

I went this week and eat a skirt rice and fries well I get food poisoning and it’s been days I have doctor bills can not make it to work days of throwing up and diahrrea terrible experience / visite el restaurante y comí churrasco arroz y papas fritas esto me costó no poder ir a trabajar y una factura médica ya que cogi una bacteria vomitos y diarreas una terrible experiencia

Ordered a drink, Black Russian and the Bartender who is a manager, while on the phone searching for her e- mail's could not prepare a simple drink and said No, of her time on the phone, which could have search in the internet, on how to prepare a Black Russian drink, vodka and Kalua, that simple
They would not give That extra mile.

This restaurant has excellent food and generous portions. From the decor to the music, your mind and body begin to prepare for the Latin cuisine. Their "bandeja paisa" and other dishes are prepared to perfection. The natural juices are delicious as well.

I have been several times now. I always have great service and wonderful food! I would definitely suggest this to anyone.
