La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Ft Lauderdale Cypress Cr, Fort Lauderdale FL

One of the best LaQuinta hotels I ever stayed. The front desk staff members are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

Dee was amazing. But we had no lightbulbs in the room. When we turn the ac up in the room it smell like something was burning. When my niece went to use the bathroom she got stuck in there cause the door wouldn't open back. We had to force it.

NEVER AGAIN, La Quinta. This was the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in. The entire place was very dirty. The hallway smelled of vomit. The only elevator that was working was filthy and extremely hot (no A/C). We slept on top of the comforter because the sheets were dirty, black hairs visible on the rinkled white sheets, and definitely not changed after the last use. We were exhausted after a long day, so we just slept. The breakfast was nothing I would eat. I took a couple of granola bars, only to realize the outer packaging was sticky, so I trashed them. I've traveled quite a bit for my work, this was by far the Dirtiest hotel yet. Complaining at the front desk would have been pointless. These issues are clearly an issue that comes from a lack of upper management combined with the lowest paid staff. This results in the "I don't give a S#! T attitude " from the staff. I don't blame the staff. This is Poor Management.

I had a great stay. Our room was located on the first floor, which was easy access, and there was enough parking. Close options for food. Staff was really friendly and attentive. Morning breakfast was really convenient. They also had other amenities, which I wasn't able to use since it was a last-minute stay, and we just wanted to relax.

We had to find a dog friendly hotel last minute because our air conditioner had broken. This location was great very clean and comfortable and the staff were super friendly especially Ms. Dee who handled the breakfast. I will definitely recommend to friends and family who come in town!

I highly recommend this property! When it comes to giving excellent guest service, Tanisha and Alexcia are at the top of their game! Service industry Gems. The groundskeeper, and the housekeeping crew, I received nothing short of OUTSTANDING SERVICE! There's nothing bad I can say about this place. I was thoroughly satisfied!

The rooms are immaculate and the property is very well kept! And, they offer a hot breakfast, with bagels, eggs, etc. Not just some nasty coffee, like a lot of these other budget hotels do.

I booked this room for my driver and spoke to a nice young lady earlier in the day and informed her as well as documented it in the reservation that the room was being reserved for my driver and she sent me a credit card authorization form. The form was filled out completely and emailed back, but the front desk clerk had not even checked the email prior to my driver arriving. My driver arrived and Stenio at the front desk would not allow him to check in because the credit card that's on my membership card does not have my business name on it but the name on my profile, card and ID matched. I tried to explain to him that I use the same card at other Wydham properties and have never had any other issues prior to that location. He said, that they don't take personal credit cards just business cards, so I guess he has the authority to tell me what is my business credit card and how to set up my business in order to book a room at a $72 a night hotel. I asked him whose business is it his or mine? If the card that I sent is for my business he can't demand for my credit cards to have my business name on it. I have another business card that doesn't have my business name on it just my personal name. I had to cancel my reservation and find somewhere else for my driver to stay in the middle of the night, because unfortunately the corporate office was closed. I will be speaking with the cooperate office concerning this issue because that is ridiculous. What is the point of the authorization form if they are going to tell you what the card has to say outside of the owners name, like they can control someone else's business or force the bank to put on the card what they want. I reserved a room with that same card at another LaQuinta location as well as other Wyndham properties and there weren't any issues just this guy wanted to be an iodiot. I even sent him the previous authorization form that was used for another property that had the same information that was emailed, but I guess he just couldn't be proven wrong. I had issues with another LaQuinta being overbooked and I put cooperate on alert about how they were managing that property so I guess I will be back at it in the morning. I normally don't book my driver at a low grade hotels like this, normally try to avoid LaQuinta because most of their locations are not the greatest quality, but I didn't want to spend alot of money on a room for a couple of hours because he was arriving late. I guess you get what you pay for. Just wanted to share our experience so maybe it will help someone else avoid this place unless you have time to look around in the middle of the night for another room because of someone that doesn't have common sense. I have read similar situations like this, but this is the last straw for me, I'm ready to cancel my membership and not deal with these properties as a whole anymore. Wyndham needs to get on top of their brand because it has definitely gone down in the past few years. They are run down and being operated with low standards.

The hotel is in very bad shape, the room smelled very bad, there was mold in the whole room and when I say it's everywhere, lamps, ceiling, walls, dirty sheets, never in my life have I stayed in that hotel.

I wish I could give zero stars. Absolutely dissatisfied with my stay and the customer service. As a Wyndham rewards member I had to file a complaint against this hotel. I spoke to management who approved my late payment to show up and find my husband and all of my childrens things outside in the dirt. They acted as though we committed a crime and made us feel very unwelcomed and prejudice was there. There is also no wifi or free breakfast don't believe the amenity lies.

Absolutely filthy rooms and terrible staff. Rooms are absolutely not to code with dirt and wires all over the place. Our stay was so bad we actually left only 6 hours after checking in.

We were there for 2 nights and definitely this location is nice, clean, and they have a good service, the breakfast was so good every morning next time around the area definitely we will pick them again.

Very convenient location for operations in the executive airport of Fort Lauderdale, comfortable and clean rooms, silent air conditioning, basic breakfast included, the attention of the staff is always friendly, outdoor pool and jacuzzi, the guest laundry can be paid with card, that it is very practical

So stayed here 2x when I florida. The first time was alright. The lady at the desk called me mana sometimes, i love her! The 2nd time I stayed was just 3 nights later. Had a different lady. I went to hot tub. Was out there alone around 9pm doesn't close tell 10. Some guy was out there asking me to let him in. I told him I didn't have a key, and he needed to call then he refused saying he'll just wait for me. So was weird. Kept asking me to let him in asked to use my phone cause his was dead to text his friends. I said no. Then he came I to the pool area. Was super sketched out seen him texting someone on his phone. I called the front desk she did not seem to care AT ALL by this Point I was so freaked out. Say around d 9.15-30 ish told him I was gonna walk around and get him in the back so he walked to the back door I keyed into the front cause I'm pretty sure the while back yard is fenced idk it's dark back there. Went in saw the security guy, another gentleman was talking to him the security guard seemed was I voted on his phone call so I asked the guy I'd he was reporting the guy outside as well and he said yes he was. The guy freaked him and his girlfriend out. FINALLY the older security guard got off the phone me and the gentleman was telling him about the guy outside. Was wanting in like full murder vibes.and he did not care. I couldn't belive he did not CARE! Like if the dude outside did lock himself out why not call the front desk on his phone that was clearly working or go around? Why was he being so shady. Idk. I will NEVER stay he again. I went upstairs locked myself in my room didn't come down tell morning and did not stay the rest of my time at that location. Please be safe out there. Be aware.

It was a genuine pleasure staying here. My room was very clean and well stocked. The only difficulty, they were having trouble with the room keys. They would work for 1 or 2 tries, and then I would have to go and get another key. But the staff were very, very polite. And the breakfast was great.

I suspect the hotel will soon be renovated. It felt very run down and not worthy of the LaQuinta brand. Buyer beware.

Beautiful walk in shower but no shelving or cubby hole to put your shampoo or body wash, you had to sit it on the floor of the shower which was very inconvient.

This was the best Wyndham facility I have ever stayed at. The room was totally renovated and the bathroom looked great!

Update April 2023:
Had a huge misunderstanding. The manager called and it's all ok. Sometimes it just takes a call.

The Staff is amazing, best group ever! I wish I could give a millions stars just for the staff, they are the best. They have a wonderful hot breakfast buffet, eggs, sausages, potatoes, toast, muffins, yogurt, cereal make-your-own waffles, coffee, juice, and teas. For me the downside was the noise, they are under construction right now. I loved the first room I was in, but not the one we had to move to while they remodeled. When it's done it's going to be 10 stars, so I would definitely recommend this La Quinta!
