La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Orlando Lake Mary

My wife and I, and our 2 kids and dog have stayed here dozens of times, and ANY other time I would have given 5 stars.
But this time, NO. Sorry.
The bed we slept in, or tried to anyway, was sooo old or worn, that we saw the circles of the springs showing when we pulled the covers down to get in. VERY uncomfortable, and when I complained to someone behind the desk in the morning - they just smiled and shrugged it off.
Next.a year later. June 2023, stayed once again in a different room, bed was even worse!
Rm 409, no bath soap, shampoo, or hairdryer. No "dirty laundry" bag. In the public restroom there was no toilet seat liners, sink tops were covered in calcium/lime deposits, hallways were riddled with the same pieces of trash for two days during the week, hallway lampshades were falling off askew, no fruit or orange juice for breakfast - this is Florida for gosh sake, and 1 of the only 2 elevators was "out". This place has always had high water pressure for showers - today it was fine coming out of the spigot, but non- existent like the Seinfeld episode.
Told the front desk, she said she would let her manager know, and would not offer any kind of discount.
We are never going to stay at this location again.

Don't believe any of the pictures you see of this place. It's more run down and needs a major makeover. They send you to the back door because their main elevator is broken. So you have to walk all the way from the back of the hotel. If your room is at the front. The bathroom in the room I was in. Only had closet doors that wouldn't lock. Anybody could walk in on any body. The bathtub couldn't drain fast enough to even keep up with the shower. Ended up showing in a bath. Room smelled like a locker room. Needs a deep order clean. If you book a room here plan to be there the full time. If you need to leave early for any reason. They will just keep your money/points. For the nights you don't even stay there.

Okay so i've been to this hotel before but i was much younger, i recently booked at this location. Now the price wasn't bad from what i remember my previous experiences at other La Quinta inn's we're. We checked in fast. So first thing we noticed.ants we're crawling along the ceiling trim. I stayed there at least 4 days and within those 4 days ants were on the desk and microwave area and i also seen two roaches in the bathroom. Other than the bugs the rooms was somewhat decent, I believe they should go down a little because i was convinced this would be a perfect stay.but i was wrong. Location is great right by the highway next too alot of great restaurants and fast food places but hotel can be better with a little more effort.

Stayed here to catch early plane flight. Won't do it again. Nightmare of a hotel, building wise. But service was great and friendly.

Staff was excellent. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Pool area well maintained. Breakfast was good. Exterior of property well maintained. Currently have stayed here 3 different visits. Among my favorites. Area is nice and quiet. Top golf close by. Very easy to travel into Orlando and its sights.

The room keys either don't work, work once in many many tries, or work after a few times. You need new ones or a new coder! The elevator that was broken as mentioned in an April 15 comment was out of order this stay. Still? When I ask for a late check out I was told I would have to ask the morning staff. Your web sight states that it is available so why do I have to get up EARLY to ask for late check out? You automatically charged me $20 pet fee that I have not been having to pay in the past. My pet did not do any damage an if I hadn't told you about her you wouldn't have known she was there!

This is a nasty hotel I paid too much to stay in a room with bugs and the smell is horrible. The entire place needs renovation. The Pool / jacuzzi spa tub is green with bugs. I was disappointed. The Water in our bathroom was stuck and not draining. I had to go sit in my car to really relax and not complain. I Don’t Recommend this place! This is run down

Stayed there for one night with my family. Really good location.
But, the ice bucket had leftover water, cockroaches in bathroom, random clothes in bathroom (most likely previous guests?)

Bathtub water valve leaked.probably leaking a gallon of water every 10 min. Breakfast sausage did not look like they had been cooked enough. Other than that was a pretty good room and ok breakfast bar.

The rooms were nice however infested with ants. Also found a cockroach. We were in 2 different rooms, both had ants. Very creepy when staying at a hotel.

Clean, beautiful rooms. Nice pool and hot tub that are open until 10pm. Breakfast was delicious. About a 15-20min drive to airport

We were very pleased with our stay! The hotel was super clean and our King room was spacious. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

We have returned here many years but not again. Elevator broken
Clothes dryer did not dry clothes. Odor of mildew from our room air conditioner and in exercise room. Door locks not working correctly. This place is in need of an overhall. Loud traffic noise from I 4 highway in early morning hours. This place used to be very nice.

Nice hotel in nice area. Not so nice staff
Breakfast options minimal. Worse experience was the shower pls change the water dispenser. It was awful and impossible to use. Had to go to my friend’s house to shower sheets were not clean. Had a big stain. Air conditioner is not controllable you either turn if off or you die of cold

I'm here in room 408. For one night.
The elevator with a broken panel; It could not be accessed through the main entrance. But what an unpleasant smell when you enter the room; Well. I took a bath, I didn't pay attention to him; but upon discovering my bed. Hairs. In the sheets. Stains on the sheets like food that smells bad and unpleasant. What a mess. Don't come to this hotel at all.

Clean, quiet, 19 minutes of SFB, pool and hot tub very clean!
Decent breakfast, and very punctual.

Location is very convenient especially for theme parks and close to Daytona beach! Top Golf is walking distance! Lots of places to eat. Very safe and quiet area, perfect for early morning walks.
