Tasty, authentic Spanish tapas and entrees in a historic looking restaurant! Performance stage has live music like flamenco on weekend nights. Service is the weakest point—-spotty and not knowledgeable—-but if you can work with it, the food is worth a visit.

Excellent ambiance and the Flamenco show and artists were fabulous. I recommend it highly.

Great Flamenco entertainment by excellent musicians. You can sit at the bar and have a glass of wine and tapas. Cover is reasonable at $5 per person. A glass of wine is $9, beer $6. The paella is good. Desserts can be improved. A Tarta de Santiago @ $9 didn't cut it. It was stale, dry, and small portion for the price.

Decent food, okay wine, screaming loud flamenco band. Four of us at the table could not even speak to each other. I couldn't wait to leave. Never again.

Went on Thursday night for flamenco show. Such a fun place, great music and delicious food. Excellent place to celebrate special occasion!

Had such a wonderful dinner here that it was one of the highlights of my most recent visit. The pulpo a la plancha is among the best I have ever had. The croquettas are amazing and every tapa we tried was extremely tasty. The place even looks like if the owner plucked it out of Madrid and transferred it over to the Gables. Flamenco night only adds even more flair and fun to what is already one of the best spots for Spanish food in Miami

I’ve never once written a review for any place but this one’s too amazing to not say anything! Loved the food, the service, & the show! The owner/manager was extremely hospitable and generous. It was a great experience overall and would definitely come back. I would urge anyone who reads this to give it a try!

For reference, I had the Pulpo a la Plancha, which is grilled octopus and creamy squid ink rice, & almond cake.

I was at La Taberna last Saturday evening. We spent a very nice eve. The food is very good. We shared everything, from the Boquerones en Vinagre, the Fried Calamari, Fried Octopus with Black Rice, to the Torta Catalana. Everything was tasty. Service very good. Waiters very kind and always attentive. The Flamenco Show was very good.

Delicious food, but a little pricey for the amount served. While my fish entree was an adequate serving, my aunts had to order twice because they were still hungry.we did not go on a show night, but plan on it in the future.
