La V - Vietnamese Fusion, St. Petersburg FL

Probably one of the best places on central. The food is super good as well as great portion size + quick service

We stopped in to La V one night while visiting St. Petersburg, and it was a great meal! We live in a place that has a lot of mom and pop authentic Vietnamese restaurants, and the food at La V was on par with all of them. I had the Bun Bo Hue and it was as good as the versions I get at home, and my partner had a Banh Xeo (vegetarian crispy crepe) that was also formidable.

The atmosphere and service here are both upbeat and modern. I saw a couple reviews mention concerns with the price, but for what you get in both the location and atmosphere, the price is right on point. I'm a big fan of La V and will definitely come back next time I'm in the area!

Omg, amazing Pho, portions are large for and quality is amazing. Fresh rolls are very in fact fresh and high quality. Would highly recommend

The Pho broth was the best I've ever had. The sauces made in house were to die for. They even had a Boba Thai tea with Bailey's in it! We ate at the bar and the service was responsive and timely, but not necessarily engaging or friendly. My only suggestion for this spot is to update the atmosphere. It has the potential to be amazing especially with the food and drinks they offer.

Food used to be great.now fresh rolls and pork buns still good but main course (we had duck) poor quality, poor presentation and small quantity.

I ordered hoi an style noodles, Supposed to by seasoned pork.shrimp and noodles plus some veggies
I got 3 pieces of pork FAT, which is tasty, BUT, I was expecting some actual pork protein

Food is "Meh" at best. Atmosphere is well done but doesn't make up for the mostly rude staff (NOT ALL but mostly). Kitchen staff must not work well together because it takes a lengthy time to get you order. Little overpriced for all they offer. Not bad if you are in the area, but I sure wouldn't write home about it.

I feel bad having to complain about the service at one of our favorite restaurants, but yesterday was so disappointing. Our food was great, however service was lacking, or should I say nonexistent. Not once did anyone come to see how our food was or if we needed anything more, plus I actually had to go to find someone to pay our check. I can understand being busy, but we were totally ignored. When they brought our food (which took a long time to get, but we were fine with that), the person delivering it didn’t even say anything. We both had bobas and fresh rolls. I had the La V rice dish, he had the Ginger Duck. The food was great as usual, though my pork was a bit greasy compared to other times I’ve had it and the meat could have been cut up considering knives are not given. Just checking on us once would have made it pleasant.

Had LaV Fusion cater a large party at Nouvelle Beauty Bar. Food arrived on time - hot, fresh, tasty, and plentiful. It was also beautifully presented. Can't wait to go back and try the restaurant!

Went to La V twice last week, and ate outside once and inside once. Both meals were outstanding-and the atmosphere is nice. The fantastic variety of flavors and fresh ingredients is refreshing and delicious. The portions are huge in my opinion. The service was also excellent on both occasions.

Love la V. Their soft pillows and fried potstickers are amazing! They were busier, we lost our server for a bit, but overall I am a repeat customer and always recommend this place!

The atmosphere is nice, everything is new and it's obvious they tried to make everything seem opulent. Sadly, almost all "fusion" restaurants (at least in this area) devote their time into making the place look fancy, with the quality of the food taking a nose dive. The portions are small and everything is way too expensive. Nothing tasted bad per se, but it was simply too expensive for the portion sizes. Go to an authentic Vietnamese restaurant if you actually want quality food with good portion sizes. There's so many better Viet places in the area to go to instead.

Spent new years eve here and couldn't be more satisfied with the service, they were so fast and welcoming even while busy! The food was delicious with easy to find vegan options too, and the interior is so cozy

I had an incredible experience when I visited. The food, while pricy, was impeccable, and the service was amazing. The boba was phenomenal and truly one of a kind. Our server was Rachel and she was ON IT. She constantly checked up on us and ensured that our needs were met. Another thing I would like to add was the other two servers, Ben and Tyler. Ben was hilarious and made my day, while Tyler was keeping business smooth and quick with the huge rush. I would absolutely come back here again, especially if Rachel is serving and Ben and Tyler are working.

Great food with plenty of vegan options. Ethan made great suggestions for our party and accommodated all of our dietary needs.

The food was by no means bad, but the price per portion size seemed not to par. Service was good and our server was kind, but I wasn’t super impressed with my meal. The spot seemed to look boujee and fancy, and in turn you don’t get as much food for what you pay. Cool place, but I don’t see myself returning anytime soon.

La V is the place to dine anytime you want good food, comfort food, some amazing or just to try something new. Food is consistent in taste and flavor are always on point! The wait staff is kind and welcoming. The restaurant is clean and smells great and is also kid friendly. Yes! The rest rooms are also clean.

Awesome Pho and other dishes here right in the heart of downtown St Pete. I ordered the Super Bowl Pho and it was enough for my party of 2 and leftovers for both of us. Y’all gotta try their other soups to which are phenomenal.
