I wanted to leave a review as when I was searching for a lab I saw how many of them have such poor reviews and it made me nervous. I went here for lab work this week and had a positive experience. I made an appointment online before hand. When I arrived I checked in with my driver's license at the kiosk and when I was finished handed the lady at the window a copy of my Dr's lab request. I waited maybe 10 minutes and then was called back. The girl who drew my blood was quick, efficient and friendly. Honestly the biggest problem was finding the place as there was no big sign outside of the building (It is a separate building next to the Publix. The building contains the Oviedo women's clinic and labcorp)

Thank God I only needed to come here for a drug test and that my insurance is only contracted with Quest Diagnostic. Firstly the waiting room chairs are not fat friendly so I'd advise you to wait in your car if you have issues with smaller chairs that have arms. Secondly there was a rude technician, she opened the door and said a name, I thought she said my name because I am hard of hearing in one ear I asked if that's what she said, she rolled her eyes and walked away. She could've just said something like "no sorry I said. "

I had an appointment used the mobile checking. When to the window after receiving the text message and was told to have a seat and wait to be called. After waiting 20 an additional mins I went back to the window to ask how much longer and why my named dripped off. Reason.they never took my order doc and to add to the insult I had to say hello at the window to get her attention.

I then explained I was waiting 25 mins with an appointment and need to get back to work as I was there on my lunch break. She called some rude lady Angela I believe is her name and she was like we'll call her soon we didn't have the order entered. Please have a seat and we will call you in a few mins.
Then Angela called me back to the window to say I need to pay Co-pay today! Well that was a lie, its acknowledgement of financial responsibility and you don't have to pay it because you will get an invoice.

At this point I'm here for 35 mins and when I said to Angela all I need to know is if I will be seen in the next 2 minutes because I have to get back to work. She said verbatim "if you've only waited 30 mins that's good because we have people that wait much longer! "

So the ppl that are at the Oviedo Florida office on Winter Springs need some understanding of proper procedures for checking in and understanding empathy with patients. Angela gives this location a bad reputation.

Pretty fast with your in/out as long as you know where the building is.

So from Broadway St, turn on Winter Park. There is a Publix shopping center on the corner on your right - turn in there. The first building on your left - before you reach the shopping plaza itself, is where you need to go.

Turn left and drive past the back and turn left to go around the building to the front. The last door will be the lab - it's marked.

Anyway, ONCE you know where the building is, they will get you in and out quickly. Seriously, the first time I went I spent more time finding the place than I did actually inside.

Make an appointment on line, and when you get there, go in and use a kiosk to sign in. Once called to the window, you can see your name on a nice screen so you know where you are in line.

It's very convenient. So much more convenient than trying to find the place.

The people there are friendly and professional and know how to draw blood, so they don't poke and poke and POKE you to find a vein. The last tech was so quick and gentle, I was preparing myself for the stick, but noticed she already did it and was filling the vials. THAT's gentle.

Probably the best place I've gone for blood work. BUY A BUILDING SIGN AND I'LL GIVE YOU FIVE STARS.

First, good luck finding this place, they have No sign, so you have to ask anyone at the parking lot and pray they know.
The personnel at the front desk (specially Abi) are rude, they treat you as a dumb for asking about the checking process, as you should know how should be.
In regards to the appointment, they provided the service on time.

My appointment was at 9: 45 but I walked in the door at 9: 27 and was out before 9: 45! They were super quick and the woman who took my blood was so kind and friendly!

Writing this so other trans folks know that the front desk lady is transphobic. Of course she wasn’t wearing a name tag. This was my first ever appointment with LabCorp, and I used my prefer name to make the appointment, because its my name. When she said she couldn’t find my forms, I said that they probably used my legal name. I kid you not, this grown adult started huffing and puffing, saying I needed to use my REAL name so she doesn’t have to go through this. Girl, what did you go through? The problem was solved in mere seconds. Sweating over having to type some buttons is real embarrassing. Anyway, the woman who actually did my bloodwork was highly skilled. I felt no pain, and it was the fastest lab work I have ever received. All the love to her

Been going here for the last couple of years usually every 3 months. I have never had any problems I make appointments in advance and the technicians have all been very professional.

I showed up a few minutes early to an appointment at 11am. No one else was there and they took me right back. I was in and out in 5 minutes.

I was concerned my blood draw would take forever because of the other reviews here, but the whole process was very quick for me. I arrived at 7am for my 7: 15 appointment. I checked in at the kiosk and waited in my car for a text from them. My text came at 7: 10. I checked in with the front desk lady, and got called back around 7: 15 or 7: 20. The lady who took my blood was very friendly and sweet. I was out the door by 7: 25. I hope more people get an experience like mine!

Only one person working this location & their automatic check-in is down. She checks a group in then draws blood for that group. Came here yesterday to get a lab that needed to be done before 8 am. And was told it would be 1 1/2 - 2 hours. So I came here today at opening - 6: 30 am to find a full waiting room & line out the door. Been waiting an hour so far. Labcorp needs to put another employee in this location. This woman is obviously exhausted. She's snapping at everyone!

It is a small office but my experience, 4 different visits all good. Very nice and friendly technicians and never waited more than 10 minutes to be seen.

I had an 8am appointment, checked in online and set up “comfort wait, ” as I waited in my car for nothing. Apparently their internet was down since yesterday and they didn’t even think to put a sign on the window where no one sits? ! Terrible management and absolute waste of people’s time.

Not the worst in the world. I have never been to this location before and there are no signs indicating where it is in the plaza except for small words on the door. Phone call to find out location and it said office was closed. I noticed it at the last minute and was able to get it done. For those who use this location, you need to go into the Oviedo Women’s Health Center building parking lot.

Opens early (good!), But sometimes later there is a long wait. Need more techs to handle patients.

The new location is very unorganized and needs additional workers. The check in process was unnecessarily long. This is my second visit to this location. Both times was a similar experience.

There should be more than one employee working at a time. One person to check in all those waiting and then those waiting have to wait until all are checked in before getting labs done. It’s not efficient. It’s not fair to the one employee.
