Labcorp, Venice FL

What a joke…. Plan to wait because this place doesn’t honor appointment times. They just go order of arrival despite being scheduled. Ridiculous waste of time had it been optional I would have never given them my business.

An elderly friend recently had blood work done only to be treated abruptly and rude. When asking for address to get her ride, the gentleman at the desk was of no help and made her to feel horrible. She also had to call the dr in that they claimed there were no orders for bloodwork…. Luckily the dr office quickly faxed it over…. Shame on you!

I have never had a poor experience at labcorp Venice. I have been going for years. Yes they are busy at times and sometimes understaffed. However, they are efficient, caring and doing the best they can.
If you try them and don’t like it go somewhere else.
I personally think your bad comments are not appropriate any generally ignore them.

I've been going to this LabCorp for a few years already. I am very pleased with their professional welcoming and registering, verifying Doctor's blood test orders & timely results.
The kind gentleman at the front desk that I know is named Bryan. He is very efficient and also does my Ouchless blood tests. I book my appointments online and all is well

3-16-23 phlebotomy tech, Johnny Cash the man in black expeditiously completed my lab work. I was checked in, taken care of and out the door in 10 minutes. This is not my first visit and will be my lab of choice. THANK YOU "Johnny"

Labs that normally take 2 days took them over a week to get results back to doctor. My doctor was waiting so long he almost sent me to the E. R.

You will also never get a hold of someone if you call them.

I've been getting my blood work drawn every week for over a year at various locations across the country and most experiences are fine at best. This location is the absolute worst. Wait times are typically 2 hours. The main desk guy is condescending and patronizing, and most of all not helpful. My results always come back same day EXCEPT at this location where they take up to 3 days. I will not be coming back to this location and instead will drive way out of my way to go to another location.

Not a good experience. Blood work drawn at the end of December, 2022, at the Venice, FL Labcorp. Called the 800 number two weeks later as doctor's office had not received my results. They had the correct FAX number and assured me it would be sent immediately. Medicare has paid them and as of today, 1/25/23, my doctor's office has not received the results. Totally inefficient and a big disappointment. Will not be going back to Labcorp for anything.
