Two years ago LadyCakes made our wedding cake, a large-scale replica of a hostess chocolate cupcake. It was not only a work of art but wonderfully delicious! We both can still taste it!

I ordered a birthday cake and cupcakes from here and it was outstanding. I’m generally not much of a fan of birthday cakes and or cupcakes, but it all was amazing. I encourage you to try out LadyCakes Bakery. You won’t be disappointed.

I’m leaving 3 stars because the communication was great (ish) and the delivery was on time. The cake and cupcakes however, were very underwhelming. The cupcakes looked pretty but they were pretty dry and only filled with buttercream, no “flavors” like was promised. They were extremely sweet, overly sweet. The single tier cake I ordered (I knew it was going to be small, that’s not the issue) was supposed to be a geode cake in the color purple. What I got was an ALL WHITE cake with two tiny geodes on it the size of a half dollar. I really felt that for over 250 dollars I would be getting something a little more impressive. The example photo I showed her was totally different than the all white very plain looking cake I got. This was all for my daughters sweet 16 party. I feel not a lot of effort was put into it and I feel the cupcakes were not made specially for my order. I am giving 3 stars because I do respect the hustle of what it takes to run a small biz, and I did have a couple positive aspects with this experience but I would definitely not use this company again. I told her my budget was only 200-250 and I felt when she heard that, she just rushed me into choosing something and I guess that’s my fault. Ended up with something totally different than what I was looking for and I feel like I could have made moister, more flavorful cake.

We are currently in Ft Myers for vacation and today is my birthday! We found this bakery while searching for local bakeries for birthday cakes; they had a wonderfully enticing selection of cupcakes and cookies, as well as a variety of small and large decorated cakes for purchase. The Oreo cake was delicious; moist and fluffy, the Oreo frosting was perfection! The Oreo flavoring wasn’t too much, it was just right. We also purchased a dozen cupcakes we cannot wait to start making our way through! Thank you Ladycakes for making my birthday delicious!

Ladycakes did desserts for my husband’s 60th party this past weekend. Everything was Excellent! Macaroons were the best! Had eclairs, brownies and cookies, which were all Outstanding! Will definitely use them again in the future. Thank you Ladycakes! Melinda

This review is better late than never! We got married a year ago tomorrow and our venue’s package included a cake from LadyCakes. We’re from Miami where there are A LOT of good restaurants and bakeries, but our cake from here was on another level. Both my husband and I along with my parents and stepmom all went to the tasting and Bess took her time to sketch out a few design ideas for us and go over all of the flavor options. We were all blown away by the freshness and flavors of the cake at the tasting and wondered if the wedding cake would be just as fresh. It definitely was and our guests RAVED about the cake. It was beyond delicious! We plan on taking a day trip there soon JUST to buy some baked goods from LadyCakes. Thank you, Bess and the LadyCakes team, for your talent, kindness, and delicious sweet treats!

Heavenly cupcakes! I really wish I would have taken a photo of my husband’s face when he bit into “The Doozie” cupcake I surprised him with, but it was pure delight!

I ordered a wedding Cake that was red velvet and salted Carmel butter cream frosting. Along with Maple Bacon cupcakes and Pineapple upside down cupcakes. They were delicious. They also did it all in 1 week! I will certainly be ordering from them again

She took our $400 deposit for a cake she never made, even though our wedding was canceled several weeks in advance because of the hurricane. Disgusting business dealing. My fiance's home was destroyed on Sanibel. Do not deal with Bess. She is rude and will take your money and run.

We had them make a cake for our son's first birthday. The cake was so dry, the frosting was hard and EXTREMELY sweet. We literally threw away the leftovers because we didn't want to eat it. On top of that, when my wife ordered the cake on the phone, the lady was rude to her. And when I picked the cake up, the lady was rude to me. The bakery seems to have an attitude problem. We will be getting cakes done at Publix from now on.

DELICIOUS! I visited from San Diego and LadyCakes did not disappoint.honestly probably the best cake I have ever bought. Super rich moist buttery flavor.better than Nothing Bundt Cakes for sure!

We absolutely loved our cake! From the consultation, to the delivery to the consumption ;) all were wonderful! Highly recommend for your wedding or any occasion.

For the past three years, I have been using Ladycake bakery for my granddaughter’s birthday parties. The cakes came out exactly as the pictures I sent and were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a delicious cake.

My handicapped wife and I went there for her Birthday, for Cupcakes. We brought our two 5lb chihuahua’s inside a contained and enclosed stroller. The woman that helped us and my wife were selecting cupcakes and had no problem with us. A different woman came out of the back mumbling something under her breath that I couldn’t hear with a attitude all over her face. She then demanded that I wait out side, and stated that the health department could do a surprise inspection and they are not allowed pointing at the stroller. I explained to her that here in Florida, dogs in enclosed strollers can go almost anywhere according to the health department unless posted, and they have noting on your door. She asked me to wait outside. I didn’t want to chance a trespass charge so I left and my wife decided to discontinue her order.

I have been using LadyCakes for a few years. Their sweets are delicious and they support our local community. I wanted to mention a specific situation last month that they went out of their way. I ordered a small birthday cake with what I thought was a request with only a plain border. But I mentioned the color request was because we're Buckeye fans (cake was for my dad and brother). Deb added a special touch with a perfect little buckeye on the cake. It looked great, and what a special touch for my family! On top of that, Lindsay took the time to pack the cake in the box a special way and tape it so it wouldn't move. She knew I had to drive with the cake in my car most of the day. Fortunately, it was a cooler day and rainy, so the frosting did not melt, what a relief. Otherwise, it would have been a disaster. Thank you for the special attention to details and going the extra mile. The cake was delicious, super moist and a hit!
