Lake Betsi, Rockledge FL

We love to visit this well maintained lake. It's paved with a wide sidewalk and benches about ever 3/4 miles. It's 2 miles of the most beautiful views. There is plenty of parking at the entrance.

UPDATE, HEALTH WARNING! Well, sadly I won't be returning to the lake. A few days ago I saw a park employee spraying RoundUp, and I stopped and warned him of the extremely hazardous nature of Glyphosate, a carcinogen, and the main ingredient in RoundUp. I went there this morning and saw a large area of dead grass and weeds along the soccer field fence. I'm guessing that he dumped the remaining RoundUp there. What a lot of people don't realize is it kills every biological thing, including dogs, cats, kids, adults, birds, everything, it's death in a jug. And it contaminates ground water and waterways, lakes and streams. It kills fish, and beneficial water plants. And it becomes airborne, so whomever rides the path there is breathing Glyphosate.
I can't ride there anymore, and I really loved the place. I won't subject my life to the threat. RoundUp killed my Jack Russell and a lifelong friend of mine. I felt obligated to warn you. Hopefully they're going to get smart and stop using it. I pray that they will.

Two miles of manicured asphalt bike path, fenced, around a beautiful lake. There are 2 benches spaced at good intervals, the only thing missing is a toilet! And if you're old or have bladder urgencies at unexpected times it puts you in a tough situation.
There's one medium sized gator I spotted today, and armadillo, and a lot of water fowl.
Highly recommended for a nice, safe place to walk or ride. In Rockledge.
