Lake Panasoffkee reviews
5Quiet, no light pollution, very nice camp host. We had a large group in the primitive camp area and we felt like we were alone in the world. Facilities were well taken care of as well. Also, only a 40 min drive to a bunch of really cool springs and state parks
Lake Panasoffkee beautiful biking hiking trails, Close to the Villages off 44.
Great spot for primitive camping. Bring your own firewood. Ample spots to customize your own site. Some sunny some shady.and some in the middle of a field. There are lots of cows around, too.public bathrooms clean and smell fresh. It's used as a hunting camp on the weekends.camp host is friendly and accommodating. Pets are allowed.free permits must be obtained before your visit.it's a pretty simple online process. The hikingtrail to Little jones Creek is worth it.lots of wildlife.deer and wild pigs. Did some fishing.bluegills were hitting well.
Very nice place for camping the bathrooms were clean as well. We came for hiking but to get to the lake look like a 45 minute walk the car road did not go back there. There were a few Woodland paths
This was my first time going to this trail and it’s definitely a place that I’m going to keep going to. The trails are good, diverse scenery, great parking. The pavilion, bathrooms and water stations are a huge plus for all types of visitors especially when bringing horses.
