Lakeland RV Resort

Wanted to check the park set up for convenience! Clean & well maintained grounds with gated security; excellent location.

Out looking for future place to live and I'd like the sites that were close to the lake and the swimming pool that's where you'd find me.

Great RV campsite. Everyone was great and staff was great. The only negative is I feel if you pay for the wifi it should be accessible throughout the campsite.

We enjoyed our stay. It was well kept, quite, and other residents were friendly. The logging, pool, and hot tub were very clean. Linda at the front desk was friendly, professional, and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and are planning another trip in làte fall.

I stayed in a cottage. I had the best time. My neighbors were great. The pool, lake and pool tables - amazing. Very clean restrooms/showers and laundry facilities. All around A+.

Although not a tenant myself, I visit a very dear friend regularly here at Lakeland RV resort. I've never experienced anyone being rude, hateful or in any other way and welcoming. There are many facilities to fit the needs of their tenants, including a pool, spa, laundromat and bath house. Very family friendly atmosphere.

Very nice RV sites. They have normal priced rates for this time of the year. Front office people are very nice. Was sad to hear that they were going to be doing only long term/year around renting. Nice little dog park there too.

Let me start off by saying that Linda, in the office is terrific to deal with. She is very professional and a genuinely nice person.

This RV campground has a nerve calling themselves a resort. They have no Wifi or cable and we could not even get reception on our phones most of the time. I understand they are under some construction at the front office but, all the rest of this place is very, very rundown and old. We cancelled our reservation and went to another, real resort, that had wifi. Would not recommend this place for the prices they charge. Outrageous for what you get.

Nice clean park. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have all the amenities listed on their website. But everyone is friendly and the pool area is enjoyable. Super clean laundry and bathhouse, which was appreciated. Rv hookups are easy peasy.

Having a very good time at this resort. The place is well maintained and people are friendly. The heated pool and hot tub were a fun amenity we took full advantage of.

It looks like this place could have potential but I showed up to check in was never told beforehand that all of the facilities were closed that there is a giant fence up around the entire office area and entertainment section so really paid top dollar to park at a Walmart for the night. Definitely should reduce rates for overnighters if there are no facilities to be used, but outside of the pandemic it may be an okay place to stay was not able to see everything because like I said everything was closed down and what was odd is this is the first place I've been to in the last month that has been.

Just wanted to warn campers that enjoy spending weekends away at campgrounds to not book at Lakeland RV Resorts- they only care about you if you are booking for an entire year or more.which is fine but don’t take someone’s weekend reservation if you have no intention on honoring it.
I had a 4 day weekend planned for Mother’s Day because that was what my 81 year old mom wanted to do. I made the reservations for a WATERFRONT space.they called me several weeks later to tell me they changed my spot to a pull through space which was NOT waterfront (so why would I want it? !) they never called to ask or discuss it with me, they just did it. And their reason was because someone else wanted to book the waterfront space that I HAD ALREADY PAID MONEY TO RESERVE for two years. So again, don’t bother booking at this place and then expect them to actually keep your RESERVATION unless you are wanting to stay for a year or more. I have mentioned this issue in several RV camping groups to warn others who enjoy having a weekend away that this place is a waste of time.

Rental units are nice, clean, functional, lots activities for in season guests, pool open year round. People are very friendly. The entire park is well maintained & clean.

A great little community to stay in on your trip to florida. Extremely nice people all around and very nice views.

My daughter and her family live there on a permanent basis and are very happy there. It is well maintained. They have planned activities. It is a gated community

Stay away, complete lack of communication, we arrived the day we had a reservation, and the place was closed, we could not get in, no one answered their phone, the late arrive box was empty, there is no after hours emergency number listed, we got an email with the payment info, but nothing else, the reservation company is off site and they did not know the gate code, they gave us 4 different codes and none of them worked, it took forever to get in, a guest who was coming in gave us the code

The staff was very friendly. The residents I met were also friendly. Our lot was on the lake which was nice that we could fish without leaving our site! It's close to alot of things to do. Biking, hiking, and shopping. Disney and Busch Gardens are reasonably close. The only complaint was they won't hook up your TV cable if you're only staying 3 nights, and people tend to park on the road and that makes it difficult to pull out the rv when it's time to leave, but that's not the parks fault. Not sure who monitors those issues. Parks not new but was pretty well kept up. Would recommend for the area it's in. Also there seems to be a little drainage issue, but it did go down pretty fast, just glad it didn't rain any longer than 45 minutes.
