Lakes Park reviews
13Really wonderful park for families. Good paved hiking and biking trails. Small train and concessions. Huge playground.
I love this park except for the fact that pedestrians are constantly in danger of getting hit by bicycles going by fast, kids on motorized scooters and doing wheelies with their bikes.
Many people are walking in both directions and I think pedestrians shouldn't have to be dodging all this
Fun place for everyone, especially the kids. Love the train ride around the park and the ice cream. Lakes park is really the best park in the area
Great park that has beautiful scenery, train riding, ge together with family and friends, host events, nature trails, bird watchers and botanical scenery. I highly recommend this park.
Amazing park! There are so many things to do here including the wonderful Train ride that's only $5 per adult and free to kids under 5. We rented the bikes once and rode around the lakes. It was pretty but too hot in the summer to do. My child loves coming here and with so many things to do, I split up the park by sections and only take him to one part of the park each time we go.
It has always been a great place to have family gatherings so much to do for adults and kids!
Best place to be outside
Walk, bike ride. Bird watch ride the mini train
Or just enjoy the weather
While the park has great walking trails and many picnic spots, we went today to partake in the Wed farmers market, 9-1. It's a no cost short term parking situation with many vendors with food to eat, local, Organic produce from Omokolee, bread, deserts, clothes, etc. A large happy crowd with numerous out of state license plates.
This is a really beautiful park! Lots of nature and beautiful trails. A fun playground and fun train. I saw a water park also. There are restrooms to use, water, fountains, and the bike rental was a lot of fun! $25 for an hour of use, it was a great workout and a great way to enjoy the park.
This place is a gem! It is beautiful and well-maintained, and a lots of options for being active.from walking paths, others bike, the rent paddle boats, peddle buggies, and picnic tables. There are swings and things for kids (aka playground). Plus, it has a working train you can ride! Highly recommend visiting at least once.
Unfortunately, NO PETS.
Its a beautiful place to go to walk or bike. Nice train Ride for kids. Even better for christmastime and halloween. Great little train museum. Wednesday’s farmers market is very nice too.
Great place to walk and a fun place to take kids (or grand kids). Playground, train rides, walking trails, train museum, bike rentals all in a beautiful setting. Worth the drive.
Women's restroom was nasty there was toilet paper on the floor and the disposal things were on the floor.
