I always wondered why this tiny little park was so popular. I went today during my lunch break and there were 23 cars parked there, even though there are only 9 parking spaces. "People must really be into scrub land" I thought.

Well, if you google the name of this park, the fourth result is from a site called "Cruising Gays City Hookup Guide" and recommends that you go around noon.

So lots of cool nature stuff and you can get your knob polished if that's your thing. Needs more parking spaces though.

For a small nature center hidden behind an unemployment office and trailer park, you wouldn't expect something this cute to be where it is. The trees are nice, you can see the lake near the back. Peaceful and secluded in the oddest way. Well worth it if you want to find a place to walk or read a book.

Peaceful little spot in a busy city area. No pets allowed, since this is a nature preserve. A fellow visitor told us that there are feral dogs in that park.
Weird opening hours (8am to 2pm)

I like the place, small out of the way. Not a hole lot to see. But I must say it may be small. But it is very nice there. That is if you would like to see. How South Florida looked, before man moved in and change it all. So stop by, and see it for yourself. It's like being in another place in another time. I really you just might like what you see there. Stop by take a walk or just sit back, and injoy just being FREE.

Such a great place to walk, get some exercise and look out over the lake.
