Lantana Public Library

Everything and everyone is Great! Very Nice! Pleasant and Smart. The previous people were terrible, and very nasty! The present staff is helpful, kind, and wonderful! Very pleased!

This is a perfect library: Speaks Spanish and Haitian langues and the do a great job on keeping those places clean but i kinda feel bad because I every time i enter the library I always see one of the visitors yelling at the staff when all they trying to do is help like makes no sense

Great Place though and nice resource my kids mostly love it for the candy

The staff here (youngsters) act as if you're bothering them when you need assistance! They'll rather sit there and mind their phones than do their job! Please hire competent people who actually want to work helping the general public!

Very friendly and they know our names. They Order books for us fast. They were telling us about the remodel and it sounds really cool, they are making it bigger too. I noticed there are more kids and teens these days and I think it is great for Lantana to have a safe space for them. Not much to do in this town.

I would like to thank Cristine, Jane, Amy, and all the wonderful librarians for always going the extra mile to ensure I always have a 5 star experience at this library. I am grateful for this little library and hope it will always remain small and cozy as it is. Thank you Librarians!

This library used to be really great. Im not sure what exactly happened. Ive found so many books not in the right place. I also feel like the childrens section is a cesspool of germs. Several things my kid picked up had kind of a film of nasty on them. As if the workers arent even cleaning. I hope they realize we are in a pandemic and things need to be constantly sanitized. At least they are doing one thing right. Kicking out that maskless woman and her child, thank God one of the employees called 911.

This wee library is great. It's immaculate and friendly. With county-wide access via holds/reserve orders and the website it has a full range of paper, digital and auditory materials. This library provides a chess club, tax or EBT assistance and other activities for children and adults. I recommend the Lantana Library wholeheartedly.

Quiet library, reminds me of my childhood in Illinois. Friendly staff. Read about future remodel in the paper, hopefully they keep some of the old fashioned charm.

Came here a few years ago and was treated horribly. Older gentlemen and woman seemed inter on following policy, despite the fact that there was no one on the computers. Came back a month or so ago and seems to be new staff, what a difference! They helped me call SS office and fax my disability forms for free, don’t know what I would’ve done without them. Kudos to Town admin for new direction.
