LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort, Naples FL

Great service. Staff very attentive to customer's needs. Beach attendants exceed expectations! Kudos to them. Rooms a little over price. Great vacation! Would recommend.

Due to dietary restrictions, I was unable to eat from the menu served poolside. For 2 days I had ordered from a meal delivery service, while still ordering drinks from the pool waitress (flavia) she had served and observed us eating both days. On the third day we had ordered food, she had instructed us with a real sour attitude that outside food is not allowed, the hotel had recommended that our hotel room was the best place to enjoy outside food forcing us to pack up and leave to our room mid afternoon.

I clearly can understand rules, but do not understand how they are not conveyed visually or effectively. On the bright side the management and the gentleman that answer the phone when you need something (Nick John or Ryan) could not be more pleasant and professional.

The other sever downfall of the stay occurred when they did not apply my $375 Amex credit to the resort charges or daily parking at checkout. They never mentioned that at check in (how convenient) forcing me to by over $300 of overpriced items from the gift shop. (Not Cool)

We ate there last night and the food was excellent. Mario helped us out and his professionalism, courteousness, and knowledge of the food outshone everything else. Five stars through and through.

Our favourite beach front spot for fine dining, special events and just casual enjoyment. Excellent location, valet parking, solid wine list, creative kitchen and friendly/knowledgeable staff combine to create a special place. I have never had a bad experience.

We went for a wedding and it was spectacular! The views were breathtaking, the professionalism of the servers, thumbs up! Walking to the reception hall was like walking through a sensual, romantic movie scene. Very high class, high end. The food was delicious, to say the least. I have food allergies and they catered to my needs. We watched the sunset on the beach during cocktail hour. It was magical!

Was there for dinner this time around, but it's such a classically beautiful resort with an amazing location. Whether lunch, dinner or lodging, it's worth the visit to LaPlaya!

Nicholas pasalodis a worker won’t stop attacking me with bad spirits and soul he even tried to make me retarted saying Cubans make people retarted so I do something retarted or look it! I wouldn’t want to go to a place where I’m under attack by his vile sick low life!

I have visited LaPlaya a few times in my short stay in Naples. The restaurant on the 2nd floor (which is only for members) is a wonderful place to have dinner and watch the sunset. The restaurant below, Baleen, is available to the public and is also very nice.

Friendly energetic beach resort directly on the gulf. We are family/guests of social members. Plenty of pools, drinks and activities to keep everyone busy having a good time. Always a great time during the holidays Easter/ Labor day/ 4th of July. Rob Runners or Cat 5's are the best.

Great resort and staff. The pool was spacious and the beach was very well kept. Every morning I went down to the beach and the staff greeted me and were always in a good mood. The rooms weren't super big but it worked just fine for me.

Good food and great sunset views. Pricey. $125 per couple without being extravagant. Super busy for dinner. Staff does a great job.

Great location and easy valet pkg. Beach access dining will keep me coming back. Service was lacking but food was decent and well rounded lunch menu. Patio is cool and open and has a slight beach view

This resort is excellent! The service was excellent and everyone was helpful. We will definitely be returning next time we’re in Naples.

This place is magical. The white sand beaches, fire pits, and good food/service create a uniquely perfect place to visit while on vacation in Naples, Florida.

I was here at night with 2 dear friends. The atmosphere and experience was, in a word, EASY. From the hustle of our everyday lives we were able to wind down in a elegant but not overbearing atmosphere. Our server was attentive, the food was excellent and the sound of the beach was a perfect backdrop to our conversation and reflections. I will return. I didn't give 5 stars because it was night. I'd like to see during the day and will update accordingly.

This was an amazing resort! It surpassed all my expectation with how beautiful, clean, stylish, gorgeous views and incredible food! Me and my boyfriend booked a beachfront room and while checking in they upgraded us to their 13th floor, One Bedroom Beachfront Gulf Tower Suite for no extra charge! It was gorgeous and over the top with accommodations! We even ate dinner at their Baleen restaurant and once again the food was perfect. In short, La Playa Resort is the best place to be stay and be spoiled when vacationing in Naples. I’m looking forward to my trip back there this summer!

$400 per night and they didn’t even clean my room. I even called and specifically asked and they still didn’t show up. Inexcusable

I’d like to start by saying I travel for a living and spent 300 nights a year in hotels. I know when service is up to par and it was not up to par here. I always acquainted this hotel to be on par with the Ritz Carlton and so I sent my parents here for a retirement present and I joined them for many meals and two days on the beach. Their room was very nice, but that was where the luxury ended. On two separate days it took us over 30 minutes to get even a menu from the beach staff to order and drink or lunch. Then another thirty later when we were ready to leave to get the check. Several people kept acknowledging their poor service, saying “i can’t believe no one has brought you the check yet” but then disappearing again. The attentiveness of the staff needs serious work. I wish I could say that flighty service was exclusive to the pool staff but I also had a bad experience at the restaurant, baleen. Overall, disappointed. Especially since I brought both experiences to the attention of staff members who did nothing to make up for the poor experience but apologize. My family have stayed at the Ritz but decided to give la playa a try this time, but was let down by la playa.

Excellent location for drink or dinner. Wonderful sunsets, perfect location and extraordinary service.
