Larkin Community Hospital, South Miami FL

I have many options but i picked larkins is a walk away from me but at least i met trained professionals not like the family members that think they know just by watching news and youtube and dont even know what NSAID is! Well if i die ill die happy with the people i met but if your new member you will have interogations from the whole crew! Man i dont kee track of illness i stick to the present YOLO

We recently had a need for help for a family member. The folks in the Psychiatric unit could not have been more helpful. Michele Prues went way above and beyond, calling us each step of the way, even on her day off. She cares deeply about her patients, and explains the whole process to family members. Even after discharge she has been there to answer questions along the way as we continue to get help for our family member. I would highly recommend the Psych/Substance abuse program.

I had the WORST experience ever in the ER! I went in for a migraine and was told that they were busy. I let them know that I was going to go somewhere else. While I was in the lobby a nurse came and told me that they have a room for me, away from the possible COVID patients. I reluctantly went to the room because I was hurting so bad. Once in the room vitals were done, then they tried to get an IV on me, which was unsuccessful. I am a very hard stick. The nurse said she was going to have another person try but never came in. I went out and asked and was told that the lab was coming, thought it was odd because they don't do IVs. Lady from lab came, asked about the IV and she left. Once again I asked the nurse and she then said they had to wait for all blood to come back before meds and IV was done. WHAT! This has never happened before! I am upset because they subjected me to COVID, lied to me and could not guarantee I would get meds for my migraine. I left immediately! Think twice before you bring anyone here!

I had to take a COVID test at this location, and I have to say the process was super quick and easy! I was the third person there, they did the nose swab and I was out in 5 minutes. My test results came back in only 4 days via email. I did have to pay $150, but it was worth it to me because I needed the results quick. I highly recommend Larkin hospital for the COVID test.

One of the worse hospitals ever. Very rude and lazy staff all speak Spanish not one speak English very trashy and out dated machines barely seen the doctor the nurses dont care about there patients.they live up to there reputation. Avoid at all cost please dont bring your loves here

I just want to take a moment to say: THANK YOU! To the case manager department, in special to Eddie Cohelo, my mom was there, and he was so nice, kind and very sweet! He found a place for my mother and give us all the best services! Also the nurse Bianca was so sweet and very professional too!

This hospital has been horrible for decades. They will keep your loved one in their system until they die or squeeze every dollar out of them the govt will pay - usually both.

Same owners as Hollywood Hills nursing home who killed over a dozen elderly people during Hurricane Irma. Owner should be in prison.

Extremely expensive.they rip off the insurance companies and patients. Will never go to this hospital.

WORST experience with a hospital ever! Very bad customer service and the personnel even lost some of my information. Also I could not communicate clearly with one of the professionals because she only spoke Spanish. I will NEVER recommend to anyone! This does not deserve any stars at all!

My daughter was transported to this hospital and I was thinking it was going to not be a good fit. The staff turned out to be very nice and extremely friendly and the primary care Physician Dr. Michel was excellent. I hope everybody that had anything to do with my daughters recovery the best and keep up the good work. Thanks Again

Helpful, Larkin has taken people needing help when so many other facilities have not or won't.
If I bring something to them that the community is doing, they never hesitate to offer their support!

Worst hospital filling many complaints with media and Bbb hospital is disgusting ants and flys in room nurses are rude and think they know more then Drs they gave me a wrong diagnosis and kept me for 3 days I went to another hospital and they said my blood work was perfect and said the hospital is a butcher shop

Flies in 3 different rooms, all rooms we were moved to, and cafeteria. Some are great nurses but there are too many incompetent ones. Not a nurse, but constantly pointing out mistakes. Some life threatening ones like 10" of air in IV line or seeing the wrong name in a medication hanging from my husband's IV. Its just a disaster. The CNAs were a dream just very thoughtful and compassionate.

All the medical personal were caring and highly professional. They went out of their way to ensure patient comfort. I felt like a family member not a patient. It was by far the best medical procedure I have had to undergo. I would with out hesitation recommend this hospital with anyone in need of exceptional medical care.

Over 3 hour wait for a simple hand X-ray and that's with an appointment. Ridiculous! I'll never go to any Larkin facility again.

This place is Filthy! Only spoke to one staff and she was nice but other than that it was horrible. My sister is admitted there and no one asked me for ID or how i was related to the patient.they just let anyone up to see her.

Worst hospital on the PLANET, hands down. Extremely dirty, disrespectful staff, they don't care about their patients. I suggest (if you have the option) to NEVER go to this hospital in your life. The government should put a fine on this hospital for being so terrible and having such terrible service. Larkin Community Hospital is a DISGRACE to this city, and to mankind in general!

Excelent and fast care. Very please with the friendly staff, up to date equipment and fast service.

They know how to treat patient with compassion and respet.my wife is free of cancer, all of her treatment was At Larkin.and I glad because she had the best attention that I never imagine.she.is doing good. My Honor and my best regard to all of member of Larkin COmmunity HOspital.

Very helpful staff. My husband was in there til tonight. Blanca, was the nurse, Orlando the sitting guy, very helpfull, Frida another nurse Lovely! But.reception Lady? No professional by phone! Sorry for her! I'm very pleased with the hospital in general! Thanks!
