Larry's Giant Subs, Fernandina Beach FL

This Larry’s location never disappoints! The quality of food is consistently great! I bounce between subs, salads, reubens, etc.and always delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The leadership and staff are exceptional people and it makes for a really great experience. My young daughter loves getting her kids sub and cookie combo. The employees greet her by name and usually offer a coloring sheet and crayons. She loves going there! The ownership at Larry’s in Fernandina is doing it right!

Started order when I got there fast service food was great guys were fast. 3 of us ate for the price

Well, went there today and noticed the price increase. I get it, everything is going up.
I ordered a chef salad which included boiled eggs which were not present.
Then I asked for a cup of water and there was a charge of. 25 cents. Then they want 2.5% for using a credit credit card and as I get the bill they want you to tip them for doing their job.
That’s it for me, I will not be back!

Whoever was working last night, Monday, 7/31 at 6: 30pm, give them a massive raise. I’ve had Larry’s from over 20 locations if not more, I’ve eaten every option on the menu and o constantly praise Larry’s over any sub shop in Florida. For years I’ve said St Simons Larry’s is the best, and I still hold them to high standards, but whoever made my sandwich at the yulee location last night put some love into it. Massive amount of flavor, held up on the toppings, and they close at 7…so usually someone rushes through the close you nah…not this guy. He’s an artist with the lettuce let me tell you. Idk what he did different in the Greek veggie, and maybe I was just hungry or something, but dang that sub hit different. I’m thinking about it still the next day. I’d like to know who made it so I can give them a huge tip or kudos or something. Unfortunately I took it to go so I couldn’t praise the master when I realized I was eating a slice of paradise. But here I am, Google.

My 11 year old insisted that we had to eat Larry's giant subs! I think she just wanted it because grandpa's name is Larry too. The food was really good. Very surprised! The lady at the register has very nice makeup.

The sandwiches were fairly average in my opinion but the staff was friendly and the shop was clean, uncluttered and inviting.

Asked to have meat cut fresh so that I could have it the way I enjoy my sandwich. I have always gotten fresh cut meat at Larry's. It was not overly busy. Other wise was made quick and prepared for our Togo order.

Excellent small chain. You can order online via the website and do a pickup and order in the store. Excellent food, customer service, and decent price to boot. I highly recommend this place to eat over the other sub places.

Made a mistake on my order then gave attitude about it. Refused to correct it then made a big deal about not wanting to absorb cost of redoing order correctly. Reused refund then mouthed off about having to credit back. Local resident and won't be going back.

Don't waste your money on bad food and poor quality ingredients, don't go to to Jersey Dikes' or Jimmy's in the John! Larry's is the only submarine Florida enjoys & loves. Try their muffaletta!

Typically I don't do negative reviews, never know what others are going through that day but what a terrible experience. I personally will never go back. There wasn't even an attempt to make a sub. I ordered a 12" ultimate, and there were about 6 pieces of onion, and 4 pieces of what seemed like cherry tomatoes. Sad experience.

Picked up lunch for me and my coworker from here yesterday. I placed the order over the phone, the employee (name on the receipt of who took my order) was very rude because they changed how they take orders over the phone. Then when the food was received my sub was made wrong, I asked for everything on the Italian big one except mustard and tomatoes. My sub only had tomatoes on it and no dressing was the driest and most disappointing sub ever. Maybe if their employees weren’t yelling at customers over the phone on how we tell them we want our food prepared this wouldn’t have happened. Provided my receipt as it was rung up wrong as well. Will not be back for awhile unless things changes.

Not sure what's happening, but thinks have changed and not for the good. Please take the time to remove the core of a tomato when slicing it. Also, if you sliced the onions thinner, you'd get more out of one. Have a great weekend.
