Larsen's Towing Services, Tampa FL

I just had a very nice conversation with a dispatcher from Larsen’s Towing regarding my vehicle being towed from an apartment complex. He went over my options of picking it up or abandoning it and was most helpful. I did read some negative reviews on here and can’t help to wonder how the callers treated the dispatchers taking their calls? No doubt they felt inconvenienced and wronged by having their vehicles towed but did they begin the convo with attitude? Because we all know instant reaction to receiving attitude is to dish it right back out. My advice for those who are about to call Larsen’s is to treat others how you wanted to be treated

Not a good business
They don’t treat their employees right, they don’t have change for cash, They don’t accept credit cards and they have you wait for till tow truck comes to leave…. 0/0 would not recommend

Terrible customer service, as I approach this business there was an elderly lady leaving and she was cursing as she left the window where she had just interacted with a man from the business, after I had contact with him I understood why the elderly lady was upset and cursing, he was discourteous and totally disrespectful -> for no reason Terriable Business model to put a fool in a position to deal with the public

They towed my car from a accident and when I called them they were professional and and polite
When I went to the storage lot the people I dealt with were very polite and helpful

I had my other car towed their after my accident well the tampa police called them I guess and then it was towed.it took them a week to tow it to the collision shop and then they told me we'll auto insurance told me they were not going to repair it would cost too much vs value of car.

Aweful. The people there are an absolute nightmare. First they tell me it's $200. When it was actually $190 when I get there because they know that I'm without a car they tell me my bill is $190. So I guess because I didn't have exact bills they were not going to give me my $10 back as change. Then I walk upon my car and where he's put the hook in the front of it it's pulled up the entire front end I had to go to cosmetics and get it fixed. The management gave me a wrong number to send all of my pictures and all of my texts to. Like seriously I don't understand why y'all have got to make this so much more difficult than what it is. I get it I should have had the sticker on my car but at the same time y'all should do your job correctly. And because you're praying all vulnerable people such as myself you should be ashamed of yourself. Like seriously you did nothing good that night by taking my car. I live here, I'm a disabled veteran going to college as a student. You and especially that fake blonde administrator that you got working there should all be fired. You're lucky I didn't call our family attorney. Something tells me that I'm not the only one.

The rudest staff ever! I had to wait for someone to release my car for 2 hours.
I called them to tell me how much longer I needed to wait in a dark quite alley for them to show up.
The woman yelled at me and told me to "shut up and be patient"!

After 14 years of service, my van needed to be replaced. My dad offered to trade cars and so I did. One night. That's all I needed without the sticker that i forgot to move off my car into the new one to park. My car was towed from where I live and I wasn't given notice. I don't use it unless I have school and I mainly use my bike to work. 3 days it was gone until I needed to take an exam at school and it was then I noticed i didn't have it. I called, the lady was rude, unhelpful, and I assume that she purposefully didn't give me a letter of Release for the car as it was still under my dad's name and i needed a form signed so I could get it out myself. Add another $25 for the day I couldn't get it out. My dad ended up driving two hours once more to get his car out because of how garbage the custom service was. Did I mention my bumper now has a hole in it? "Roam towing" is the stupidest thing and that was borderline illegal. Thinking of working for them so I can commit grand theft auto without repercussions.

Can I give a negative 500 stars? ! First, they towed my car illegally. I was a visitor at my mother's apartment and parked in the visitor spot. Even my mom's apartment complex said they should not have towed me as I was in the correct place.

Then, I pick up my car and they scratched my BRAND NEW CAR! I had my car for FOUR days before they towed it and scratched the rear driver side bumper. Its not a little hairline scratch. Its a big patch with yellow paint like someone took a turn too short. My car is black btw.

I emailed them and had to call to get someone to respond. The manager calls and says he wants to come look at the damage. I told him I worked downtown in a parking garage and didnt have assigned parking but I live down the street and could meet him at my apartment complex. He said he had to check his schedule and he'd call me back later that day. That was Thursday. Its now Wednesday and I havent heard a word.

The customer service Representative coverong after shift was very rude. The representative never gave her name, yelled at me about what she knew from my previous calls and told me I had to wait to have my vehicle released to me until I had another tow vehicle here with me. She than proceeded to hang up on me. Didnt care about the hour of night it was neither cared about the extra fee I would be charged if my vehicle was kept another day. Needless to say my vehicle was stolen and this was the reason my vehicle ended up in their care. Treated horribly. Customer service was terrible. I'm still waiting and I arrived at 11pm. It's now 12: 37
am and no one here to release my vehicle.

My wife parked on the street of a community next to the school to pick my son for about 20 mins. By the time she is back the car is towed and my son has to wait in the sun for 1 hour until I have to come and pick them. No warning, nothing. Wife did not noticed that there is a tow away sign on the opposite side of the Street and requested to consider this as a first time warning and would not going to happen again.

However, The lady in the main office is so rude and threatening to pay the towing fees or else every day we will be charged additional $25. Also she says that I have to pay with cash or debit card and will not accept credit card. I have no idea what right she has to say that. The way this whole company runs and deals with people is like some crime enterprise.

This company has 0 regard for human beings in general, let alone their property.they make stressful situations even worse for people, no matter your situation or the specifics, they will treat you as if you work in the business with them, making it feel as if asking clarifying questions is wrong in some way. AVOID THESE PIRATES AT ALL COSTS.they allow uncertified drivers move and DAMAGE cars at your expense.they dont want to help you.they dont care if your car was legally parked.horrible place of business

Just horrible! Couldn't even ask a detailed question without being talked over and then snapped at for asking them to hold on. The woman was the worst person in customer service history.

Plus, they try to hold your car there to make more money by stating if in accident, the police are not allowed to tow the vehicle to a auto-bodyshop or dealership and must go to their lot. Hillsborough Sheriff's office stated this is not true!

The women in that office are extremely unprofessional and rude. Their policies are completely outdated and need to be more up to date to accommodate all situations.

All the reviews are correct; they steal money from honest people; their rates jump rapidly and customer service works against you automatically

These people are criminals. They will steal your vehicle, then make you pay an exorbitant amount to get it back. The chances are good your vehicle will have damage too.
