Latitude 26 Waterfront Resort and Marina - Fort Myers Beach reviews
20 Rooms were clean, comfy and beautiful. We.found everything as expected and were very happy with our room and all services provided. Wlan password was provided, internet is free, though not the fastest. Location is very convenient.
Cam'Ron who checked usnin annd out was absolutely lovely and very helpful.
Would definitely come again.
Wifi never worked. Checkin process was painful. No TV remote, they said they would bring next day and they didn't. Grounds and rooms not clean.
Do not recommend.
Beds were ok.
Check in was the worst.
Location is perfect.
Won't be returning but typical for ft myers I suppose. Trash city.
Waterfront is in a very nice location it was my first experience, and it was great management. It was very pleasant rooms cleaned. I like the setup it feels so cool. It's a must, we will do it again if you ever meet Rob he's a very nice person this place is a win for me it was my daughter's idea for my birthday we had a blast.
First of all: the rooms were clean.
But we booked a 2 bedroom room. The two bedrooms were all in one open room. So it was impossible to put the children to bed and then watch a little TV yourself. I received no response to my complaint. Communication only takes place via Whatsapp. There is a bot on the other side. There is no personal contact.
The room code also comes via Whatsapp. However, I received two codes, one of which worked.
The rooms are generally not in good condition. And breakfast is a few plastic-wrapped toasts and a coffee.
I probably wouldn't book here again.
Autumn the General Manager is rude and should not be in customer service. Hanging up on paying customers with a billing issue.
Booked via Expedia with no advance payment and free cancellation. They deducted 50% of the price from my card right away anyways. Now I had a change of plans and cancelled.waiting for them to return my money for over 3 weeks now. Not intested in doing business with them ever again.
Update october 2023: Still waiting for my money, they decided just to ignore my mails.
Very clean! Latitude 26 takes everything that makes SWFL beautiful and packs it into your stay. Everyone that works there is very kind and accommodating. For anyone looking for a peaceful, safe place that has something for everyone in the family latitude 26 is the place for you!
Free kayaks and paddleboards at the hotel. I saw a large shark and a dolphin within a mile of the hotel.
I would NOT recommend this place. We arrived around 8 o'clock the night we checked in only to find there was no one on-site working and no direction as to what to do next. Eventually I call the number to find out there were all kinds of weird steps just to get in the room. Once in the room it was NOT AS ADVERTISED. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and sinking in as there was no support to hold them up. The towels were old and rough and the shower leaked all over the floor while I was bathing which I can only assume was due to a hole or something. To cap it all off after having a long delay to check in we asked for a late check out to make up for the inconvenience only to be told very rudely no and that it's our fault. That was the icing on the cake for me. Bad service, bad quality, and poor structure is all I have to say. If you can stay somewhere else then do so. The star rating is not accurate.
Rooms are quite worn and there are dead bugs on the kitchen cupboard and corners. There was still a hair from the previous guest in the shower
The hotel is located in Fort Myers Beach, which was badly damaged by Hurricane Ian last year. As a result, the range of leisure activities is very limited. The rooms were very spacious. However, the breakfast was more than sparse-even by American standards. We had to ask extra for cutlery. The room code that was sent did not work. Since we arrived later, we had to call first so that we could open our room.
Pool is boiling hot, the rooms are so old, we had a mouse or something chewing and crawling around in the upstairs closet thing. Just saying mouse from the droppings that were in clear sight. The triming on each stair inside and around the twin bed kept falling off. We got 3 pillows for 4 people. Asked the maids for another one and she stated thats all they had
Then 3 weeks after our stay we got a charge that they said a child peed on the sofa but we have children that have been potty trained for years now. A Manger was so post to call back with proof of such but never got back. We are locals so its kinda like wow what a way to treat someone.
Great location with dock for boat access but no boat ramp other then that close open water access as well
Very well maintained hotel. Great location! If you're looking for a perfect taste of Florida, this hotel is it.
Ok rooms. Bit worn but good pool. Located right next to busy road.
Close to the beach,
Breakfast was jusk food - twinkies, hohos and cereals. Toast and butter but no spoons or knives any of the 4 days we were there so bring from the room.
This is a cute quaint perfect getaway. We wanted to getaway for the 4th and we are so glad we picked this location. Jennifer was very kind and helpful. Knowing what kind of resort this is, and seeing we would be grilling we brought our own utensils, seasoning, etc.
Glad we read the review about the pillows so we brought our own, I would recommend it.
This is not a GLAMOROUS BEACH SIDE RESORT This is a mom and pop location and more like island living. We will be back:)
The rooms and the location are good, even the hotel is located close to a busy street. Breakfast is really the weak side. Short time and less stuff.
Another very positive thing is that the hotel offers use of kayaks for free. Great!
A good American style restaurant is just a jumper away from the rooms.
And please be aware, that there is no reception available. You nee to check in via mobile phone and get the room entry key per email the day you arrive.
I stayed for a week $1000 there was multiple issues with the room. Water damage along the trim, there was also a crack in the shower floor
This is a beautiful and affordable spot situated between the bridge to FMB and the rest of the Fort Myers area! Rooms are clean, cool, and decorated with amenities! We enjoyed the complimentary paddle board, kayak and bicycle rentals so much, we wish we could stay longer. Even when there was an issue with the third party booking company we used, Jennifer and the team were quick to help resolve the issue. We hope to come back soon, this is a great stay in the Fort Myers area:) Thank you!
