Lazy Gator Beach Shop, Daytona Beach FL

I loved this store & the Florida Gators gear & I was on vacation in Daytona & lucked up on this gem. Will definitely be back there the next time I'm in Florida Go Gators

Employee was too busy on their cell phone. Had to go interupt them to check out. OK selection but had better prices elsewhere.

Can we give-5. Very rude employees. Everything you ask was either no or nope. Definitely rushed us out. Hopefully she is not the owner if she is. I don't see it surviving much longer.

Beach and Souvenier shops are a dime dozen in many ocean front vacation destinations. This business had a wide range of clothing and souvenir options for all ages. The prices were decent and in line with all the other businesses in the area. The staff and service were ok. All in all we had a favorable experience.

I been buying stuff here for over 10 years every time I come to Daytona beach. I still wear my first bathing suit I bought here over 10 years ago lol

I was there last week. Cool place to get souvenirs at a decent price and they sell beach apparel. I think the name of place is catchy too.

Very friendly staff. Decent prices. Is super cute turtles. Don't touch the turtles! Lol. I touched the turtle. I wasn't supposed to touch the turtle. So next time I'm there, I won't touch the turtle

This place has the most rude employees I have ever met. Went with my son and girlfriend and the first thing they did was yell at me for wearing a diaper bag/backpack accusing me of planning on taking something then my son had a toy car that the body pops on and off and the owner lady tried saying he broke it and we were going to have to pay for it or we were gonna be in trouble. Let me remind everyone that we never once had any kind of attitude with these people and they treated us with complete disrespect worst store I’ve been in this whole vacation so bad I had to come write this review. Don’t spend your money at a place where the employees treat you like trash.

Only giving two stars because the owner was nice. 1st was profiled for being a thief by the employees and told my small backpack purse would have to be put behind the register. 2nd the $20 boogie board I bought my kid didn't even make it out on the water before it broke. The strap mount didn't have a backing & it popped out of the foam. Called to ask about refunds/ exchange and was met with a rude "we dont manufacture them, they arrive sealed in plastic". Like DUH of course, I never said YOU were responsible for the faulty function. Tried to exchange for a T shirt for my son, in fear all the boards would give me the same trouble but was told i had no choice but to trade it for the same item.

Rude, nasty employees but owner is cool. Will not spend money there again until staff is handled.

This shop is where all the deal's are. Cute stuff for girls my size. Big selection and the prices are way better then on main st. The cute girl that was working there was so nice and helpful. I think her name was Danielle.

The lazy gator is a great clothing and souvenir shop and much more. Located right by the beach but off the beaten path. Way cheaper prices than down towards Main Street. Friendly people. Great prices. Huge selection

Lady took us in out the rain made bunch custom shirts for wife and I and friends spend sum good money here.

Cashier was super rude and the prices are not labeled correctly. Display prices were low but when we went to the counter, prices were way more expensive.

The conditions in which the turtles and hermit crabs are kept is abhorrent and should be considered abuse.

I am pretty sure the cashier called me an assailed in Spanish! See she didn't know that I can understand Spanish! Funny how that works.

Great store for gifts. I bought some shirts and you can find a huge variety of stuff in there. The price is in avarege.

Called and spoke with the manager about a shirt that I got from there that the letters were coming off.
Was told to come in any time that she’d write my name down and I could either get a refund or a different shirt.went in and was greeted by a rude woman because the shirt was wet from walking into the store news flash it was RAINING! The shirts not been worn what so ever I highly recommend not going here their stuff is clearly cheaply made!

Went to buy my mother in law a bathing suit who has a chronic disease and couldn’t get out to buy her own but really wanted to get in the ocean. First experience was great friendly service with a cool cashier guy. The bathing suit was pricey at $50 but it was convenient. Then, the bathing suit didn’t fit her when we got it home. So next day we went to exchange it for something else. We had the receipt and bag it came in. When we brought it up to the cashier lady, who looked like she had been up for days on some kind of drug, yelled at us that the bathing suit wasn’t from that store. We told her it was and the receipt is in the bag. She went all the way across the store to find the rack it came from. She got an attitude with my husband. We went ahead and exchanged it for something else that was way more than we spent the first time. She still had an attitude when we checked out. Then she followed us all the way to our car and said she couldn’t keep the old bathing suit because there was something on it. Very hateful lady. She needs to take a nap before she comes back to work from a drug bender.
