LBU Lighting, North Miami Beach FL

My father purchased a pair of lamps for his living room based on the color of the light of the one on display on the floor. A white light. He took them home and after installing, the color was a dark yellow. He took them back the next day and was charged $114.00 FOR RESTOCKING FEE. HE HAD THEM ONE DAY. The answer he was given was "that's how they come. " They pretty much took $114.00 from my father. Even if they brought them from somewhere else, they sold a color from the display, and delivered something different and offered no solution. Took his money happily.

Didn't have the bulbs that I was looking for. Was willing to place an order. The associate was willing to place the order but needed the bulbs the same day. I found the bulbs at a competitive lighting store.

I bought lighting and dimmers for our condo renovation from LBU North Miami Beach. We found them knowledgable. They were able to order all the brands I chose and Andrew recommended some shallow recessed down lights that we are really happy with. Their pricing was competitive with all the big online lighting sites. I highly recommend them.

Tho store is a complete rip-off and the staff and customer service are the worst I’ve had to deal with in South FL.

Not only will the store sell you parts that don’t work (in my case a ceiling fan, LED panel, Magnetic LED Drivers) but also they don’t accept returns after 30 days.

Do not waste your time and money at this store. Relying on Amazon, Home Depot and the like are much safer alternatives and much more reasonable when it comes to returns, especially for defective parts.

I was passing by and forgot all about this place. I happen to need light bulbs as I has the old ones with me in the car.

LBU pretends to be a high-end lighting retailer but only the price is high-end.

I wasted one whole morning with the store specialist going over my architect’s designs and none of the parts he recommended worked for the project.

I had to purchase all the LED profiles elsewhere and when returning to LBU, they charged a 25% fee for returning the merchandise!

Very poor service, untrained and rude staff. And unreliable delivery dates as well.

The picture of cloth and a bucket of water a representative handed me to clean the boxes being returned!
