While on vacation this past Saturday, 1/28/23, my husband and I brought in our Corgi/Dachshund mix-Julie-who was in significant distress. The team at LeadER ASH was on it as soon as we walked in the door. A triage nurse came and started assessing Julie right away; they took her to the back and got her in care; and they gave us an update as soon as they could (less than 30 minutes waiting). When we had to make the unfortunate decision to euthanize Julie, every one of the staff members who interacted with us was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and respectful. They took their time explaining our options and expectations, kept us apprised of Julie's condition before the moment, and helped to stabilize her long enough for us to say a private goodbye. We couldn't have asked for better service, response, and understanding at the worst possible moment in our lives, and we are eternally grateful for their compassion in helping our golden fluff cross the Rainbow Bridge.

Go if you'd like to get robbed.also Rude staff. If you love your pet as if it is your child find another Vet. The front desk staff is rude the person at the desk was laughing my pet was dying and she thought it was funny. They tell you its an estimate and then charge $2400 more after already paying them over $7000 and you dont have a choice but to pay them its extortion.

Their cardiac team saved our dog's life! They were very caring and followed up with us regularly during our dog's recovery.

The entire staff at LeadER from the moment we arrived until the moment we left were kind, attentive, and compassionate. They helped us through one of the most difficult moments in our lives. Our dog, Kobe, woke up very sick one morning and we decided to take him here. They treated him and us like their family. Kobe was well taken care of until the moment he passed. We even received a hand written card from the staff upon his passing. We are forever grateful to LeadER for everything they did for us, and especially for our beloved dog Kobe.

P. S there are long wait times, but for critical pets they are very fast and diligent. The price is also a bit elevated but they understand if you cannot pay the amount.

The doctors assistant was very.don’t even know how to call her. My baby was unable to urinate so I rushed him to ER. Needed emergency surgery and they were charging me $7000+. I told her to unblock him and I would search for another place but that I didn’t have the money. She told me I had to. Told me if I didn’t do it right then and there I was being inhumane. She told me if you don’t just put him to sleep. Who says that. Well I found a place, baby had surgery and inhumane me, the one you think doesn’t care, been feeding him from my hand to ensure he heals quickly. Oh yeah and put an air mattress in living room so that I can sleep with him since we have a two story house. Thank for calling me inhumane. Hope one day someone treats you and your pet as harsh as you treated me.

Dor. Daubs did a great job on our pug, who needed a soft palate resection surgery. He was very frank and told us all the potential problems that could arise. He recommended a video exam prior to opting for surgery. After the exam, we decided to move forward with the surgery… We were nervous, but were kept updated, received pictures, and even a refund at the front desk, since we paid a higher deposit than what was actually used/performed. Highly recommend them!

Dr. Brian Daubs is the best. He performed ACL surgery on our dog and did a great job. Our dog is healthy and happy because of Dr. Daubs.

Unlike a lot of the reviews here I had a good experience here with my sick cat.he had a urinary blockage and bad kidneys, he was 12 years old and the staff was friendly.he was brought in and immediately taken to the back and checked. I feel like this is an ER so just like the human one emergencies are a priority.he stayed there for 3 days and I got many calls to update me on his progress. I am very thankful that I came here since his usual vet was 45min away.in my experience the staff was very understanding and compassionate; im a very picky person specially going somewhere new its very scary. I feel like just like anywhere else it can be 50/50. I will return here for any of my pet emergencies specially that in this area there aren't many 24/7 hospitals.unfortunately my kitty didn't make it but the staff was very very compassionate, they sent a sorry for your loss card which is a very thoughtful thing in my opinion for them to do.

Horrible experience. We came here because our vet is closed until December and we noticed tonight our dog has a lesion on her head that’s bloody and swollen. So we came at 7 pm and were told it would be a bit of a wait which we understood as our case was not critical. However, when we checked in, no one bothered to go look at our dog to tell us she’s okay and we can go home and come back another day. We were told it would be maybe thirty minutes or an hour. That’s fine. We were willing to wait even longer as we understand the nature of urgent cases that come in and require attention immediately. We waited 5 hours. Checked in every hour with them. At midnight someone finally came out to see our dog and suggested we should go home and come back in the morning. If only they had done that from the beginning. We will not be returning. All we asked for was professionalism and respect for our time. If someone would’ve told us you should come back tomorrow, she’s fine- we would have done just that. It should not have taken five hours for that simple sentence.

My experiences prior to today have been positive. The wait time is absolutely RIDICULOUS! There were hardly anyone there and they kept us waiting hours til I finally left and decided to take to our vet the next day. They said they looked at our dog and it was not an emergency; which was why I decided to leave. My dog was crying to leave the entire time and made being there stressful. They have no respect for anyone’s time or they really need to be better staffed. Horrible! No excuse why they can’t do better! They charge enough to have more vets available!

In the most difficult and distressing moment of my life here in Leather I found help and shelter, my SIMBA, almost 16 years old, was treated like the king he was and we, his family, are very grateful, they were sincere and fair, I recommend them 100%
THANK YOU TO ALL!

We took my mother’s dog, Candy here after an accident. She was taken to back by nurse immediately and we were kept informed at all times. After getting meds and being observed all night in ICU Candy was diagnosed with major seizures and broken hip. It was decided that it was best to put her to sleep. The doctors and staff could not be more accommodating and sympathetic. Glad God guided us to this place they made a bad experience tolerable.

Called to ask them to help this kitten and bill me for their services. Was told "No". Seems like they are more concerned with making money than helping animals.

They were quick to assist my dog, I didn’t have to wait long at all. However, only one girl out of this whole team threw me the wrong way.
I understand as a clinic you want the best for your patient but not everyone can afford it. I was provided with the estimate and unfortunately I couldn’t go through with it. I explained it to the nurse and she kinda looked shocked.
Then when she’s giving me back my dog she’s basically making me feel bad about not going through with it. Were you gonna pay for it? No? Exactly.
Thankfully I found a place same day that I was able to afford and now my dog is in better hands.
She probably would’ve been in good hands here just with a non understanding nurse

Fear mongering, Over-charging & inaccurate diagnosis. Charge you for things you do not use/ pricing differs per visit for same items within same week. Odd voicemails when transferring info. Do yourself a favor and don't go in if possible. Absolutely not. They truly do not care about your beloved pets. Right off the bat it was all about $$$ to them, not about medical care. Tried to say my puppies had distemper. If they had distemper, wouldn't you test for it? If you suspected this, why wouldn't you clear the back area with other dogs? They put 3 different 4-5k bills in front of us for each 11 day old puppy & said this is all they can do.
-about 15k total-
So we asked what was necessary and what wasn't and they took off the tests and said here- here is the treatment for the breathing machine. WHAT ABOUT THE TEST TO SEE IF THEY HAVE IT? HUH? Keep that on there obviously? If you suspected it, test right away! I took these puppies to proper care after this incompetent hospital and the staff at the next place -laughed/confused on why they would say this after inspection of the puppies. Also, we took them to another place on top of this for a 3rd opinion to a puppy specialist and they also LAUGHED and were just as puzzled at the diagnosis this place gave. Don't waste your time here.

So many people from this office need the up most praise. My dog had a neutering go wrong and had internal abdominal bleeding. Dr. G, Dr. S, and Dr. Marian were all so informal and hands on. They called me multiple times throughout the day and any time I called Stephanie and Nicole took their time to talk to me. Tatiana carried him in for me in the beginning and made sure she was available to help see him go home. She physically showed me how to carry him up and down stairs. I saw the nurses even dancing for him in the back to cheer him up. His discharge nurse Kristen was so informal and amazing. She took the time out to explain in detail everything and answered all of my crazy questions. Love this place! Hope no one ends up here but if you do it’s definitely the best place around

Came here after getting recommended from another vet.from the first time i walked in i wasn’t greeted or asked how i could be helped.spent 1.2k on getting an ultrasound/fna on my dog and when they called me for the results they said that she would only have to get her bladder and kidney stones removed.i brought her in soon after and after they did another consultation (which was around $150) they said she would have to get an xray done and that their was a possibility she had breast cancer.the estimate came out to 6-8k which was out of my price range.i asked for just the estimate on the bladder and stone removal but the nurse didn’t seem to understand.i wanted to do things one step at a time but she was clueless.i went to Pet express animal hospital and they helped me immediately (the consultation was around $60), the staff was nicer, and they always make sure to put the exams we have to do for my dog in simple terms to make sure everything is understandable.so far i have only paid around 1k at Pet express and they are already doing much more for my dog than these people ever could.from what i experienced LeadER didnt care about my dog they only cared about the money.
