Lee County Tax Collector reviews
9LOVE the new, safe, clean, uncrowded, clean, appointment only, not-rushed atmosphere! I was assisted by Donja and she was 5 star phenomenal! Don’t ever go back to the old ways please
Considering how many people stagger in there without the proper documentation, I have found the staff to be extremely knowledgeable, and helpful. They are there to do a job, and they do it well
Manager is really kind and professional some agent in the other hand give u really bad treatment and attitude gives you the impression that they are being forced to work and that you are there punishment
First time there. I had THE best window agent at station 11 named Aubrey who was not only friendly & professional but also took time to answer any questions I had.
I found if you get there before they open. Service is very fast. Waiting time is 15mins or less depending on how many got there before you. The staff in the morning are awesome. After a couple hours of working and dealing with the ignorant and or impatient people. You can feel the frustration in the air.
Every time I go there, it always before they open.
Currently at full capacity in the waiting room along with a long line at the entrance, only 2 out of 15 stations are available to assist due to all the other staffs taking their lunch at the same time.
I've been here an hour and have not heard any of the "E" being called and watching other people who arrived way after me being called up.
Suggestions:
Have a half hour rotation for each person to take lunch instead of everyone disappearing at the same time and have a back up for the stations to cover while on their lunch.
Before coming here get in your head you gonna have to wait a few hours and if you're lucky maybe you don't have to wait so much, some employees don't smile but get the stuff and there job done, without being disrespectful.
Wait time is ridiculous! Why are there so many work stations with only less than a handful of employees working them? Plan to spend at least 1-1/2 to 2 hours there and it's better to not bring your children because the wait is torture for the little ones.
