Lee County Tax Collector - Cape Coral

After explaining the efficiency of the DMV here in FL, we had a great 2 hour wait at this location to get A drivers license swap, and plates. Only to be told the servicing agent couldn’t do plates and we would have to wait some more.

This is after getting the appointment and sitting for 2 hours due to the incompetent employees.

Go down to Bonita where the employees are friendly, are able to do their jobs in a timely manner, and your appointment time is actually the time you are served

Absolute disgrace allowing walk ins through while appointments are still siting waiting

I give it a star because there is no less category, but the service there is tremendous rubbish, if you go without an appointment you can spend the whole day being served, they have 24 windows and only 6 work, they must have a person to serve you only those who do not have appointments or otherwise do not accept anyone without an appointment

Carlos was the one who gave me the exam and I really loved it, he was very kind and helped me because I arrived very nervous and he calmed me down and I was able to do my exam well

A few years ago it was a place with very good service and they respected each person's waiting time. Yesterday (1/3/24) I went and spent 6 hours waiting for a license plate renewal and not only that, I put up with the bad treatment, especially from the woman who was serving at station number 6.

Carlos was awesome, very encouraging and calm the whole time! I was able to relax thanks to his words! Thank you so much

It is definitely the worst to come to do any type of procedures, there are 24 windows to attend to the staff, of which only 4 are working. 4 should put more people to work in this office or else they should put a worker to attend to The people who do not have an appointment since this is a public place, all the people who come here do not have the time to waste because we also work, they should have a little more awareness with the public. I want them to understand that they are not critical of their workers but of the little staff they have working here

Robin Hennesy was absolutely the most helpful person I have come across in a very long time. She helped me get my address change completed, and a new driver's license, but also updated my voters registration, my vehicle registration, a new title for my vehicle with the correct address and and even updated my handicap placard. I would have never thought to update all those things and would have to have made multiple trips to get them all completed. Thanks Robin for all your assistance.

Waited on the phone for 30 minutes for the tax collector to tell me to just send an email with my questions.
