Lehigh Acres Assisted Living reviews
13Professional staff, caring environment, home, like with individualized care. I would definitely recommend highly!
The Lehigh Acres Assisted Living staff impressed me with their professionalism, kindness, and genuine concern for their residents. My sister has been here for over seven months and has never been better! Not counting how quickly they accepted her into the community, it took them only a few days to settle all the paperwork and get her in! I love the place!
Thank goodness for Lehigh Acres Assisted Living! If you're searching for a comfortable and safe place for your loved one to call home, this is it.
Our Mom has lived here over 4yrs and she has consistently experienced competent and kind care. Sanitation and medical protocols are solid, while both staff and management provide a homey, non-institutional environment.
Highly Recommend!
If I had to move a family member into an ALF, this is the place I would choose. As a home health physical therapist, I go into many facilities and see how residents are treated by staff. Lehigh Acres Assisted Living has the most caring staff I have seen across facilities. Residents are treated like family. The facility is clean, they have daily activities and trips for residents, and staff there has been great staff retention which speaks volumes.
My mom has been there for a year now. The staff takes good care of her and always communicate with me about her needs. It's a very homey place for mom.
Wonderful staff. Great place to work. Residents and staff are kind and loving. The staff makes you feel like you are part of the family!
I love our quaint family style home. We truly love and care for our residents. This is where I hope to retire from. Thank you all for your wonderful reviews.
I have been working at Lehigh Acres assistant living for awhile and I have to say compared to the other assistant living facilities I have worked in this one is by far the best I’ve been at. The managers are respectful and fast acting when there is a problem. The nurses are always attentive and there when we need them. We all work together as a family so that our residents get the best care they deserve to get. One of the best things about it here is that we aren’t that big so everyone know everyone and all the residents become close friends and have around the clock care and are never alone. We love our little family!
I have been working here for a little over 20 years. I love what I do and I love my residents, their families and my co-workers. We go above and beyond to care for our residents, they are part of our family.
Great staff. Couldn't have landed in a better work environment. Residents are so kind and loving to each other and staff. Puts a huge emphasis on family taking care of family!
Nice place, very clean and orderly. The staff is very Personable, friendly and knowledgeable. Food is top notch and the chef is very interactive with the residents. Overall a great place for our loved ones to be taken care of.
Unsatisfactory facility in every way. (1) The cheapest food, residents get very little nutrition, most vegetables come out of cans (rarely any fresh fruits either). Every once in awhile they will serve cheap fresh spinach with some kind of liquid on it (tastes like vegetable oil) but residents here never get salad. Very little meat is served-even during lunch, which is supposed to be the main meal! The residents won't go hungry, as long as they like a lot of carbs: such as rice, pasta, and bread. When my loved one was here, the executive director was also the cook: maybe he gets bonuses for saving money on a chef (and saving money on food). (2) LAP needs an anti-nepotism policy. Two sisters working in the same facility, is just not a good idea. (3) The building is very old, depressing. (4) One night, my loved one was given medication that was supposed to be mixed with water, they gave it dry, the new employee could not have been a nurse, probably a contractor with fake credentials. You'd think she could at least read the directions on the bottle! (5) When you walk in, it's apparent that the residents are over medicated. So many are asleep on the couch and chairs in the living room during the day. (I believe they're given unnecessary drugs so they can't complain.) I highly recommend The Palms of Fort Myers. Great care, for a lot less money!
