Leigh Meadows Apartments, Jacksonville FL

Been living here for a while now a few pros & cons.maintenance is good comes right away. I called to complain about carpet being put down on the apartment complex above us they were banging hammers on our ceiling since 8-9 am and when I called I spoke to Mary Ann she was very rude I told her why would y’all have them come install Carpet this early in the morning when people are sleep she laughed and said “it’s not early” and I have to “bare with it”? What is that to say to a paying resident and how is 8 in the morning not early? Ms. Angela is the only one in the office who actually try to resolve issues everybody else In there is rude and do not care!

I have now been here almost 2 years now and I’m so happy. This place was my first place to be in with my kids. I’m a single mom so this is a HUGE accomplishment for me. I’m really happy I renewed my lease another year!

Ms. Angela was an angel, she did a great job helping me and answered all my questions. 100% would recommend this place.

The complex is nice, clean, and very presentable, my first impression and what I had to go through to move in was not smooth. I had to keep uhaul for an extra day because move in time got pushed back and I had to go to work. I couldn't sign the lease the next day because "only one office staff will be in that day and couldn't sign. ". Viewing the apartment the day I had to sign the lease felt like a set up. My apartment is extremely strong with smoke, as a result my infant child has to stay with grandma until they fix this matter as soon as possible. Everything else is to be determined.or to be continue.

I just moved in, the process was easy all thanks to a wonderful lady named Angela.talk about bein in the right place at the right time.she was very helpful an professional with my application proces.now I’m in my new apartment an happy thank Ms. Angela

They used to be good until the new people came. Every time you call one young lady is alway rude. Not to mention the roach problem is out of control.

I absolutely love living here. I haven’t had any issues since moving here from AZ. I love the community and maintenance issues are handled promptly. The staff are friendly and they are always doing things to make the complex look better. I do definitely recommend Leigh Meadows. - L. Sharp

Angela has been GREAT from day one. Customer service is wonderful. I’m just not a fan of the cabinets and counters which are pretty old and worn. The appliances are old. And the apartment has a odd scent. But the complex keeps up with the grounds which is good and maintenance is quick and responsive which is much appreciated. The place is ok for a transition spot.

Last minute notices, that are inconvenient for working single people with children and animals. Demanding animals and children are not present during inspections. But you have no idea when they are coming. Sometimes they never come at all. Send emails with my availability and no response from the front office. Might help if the scheduled time with the residents.

My son and I are in love with our new home. The one thing I don't like and can't really use is the outside storage, I noted this on my move in paper, they came right away, but they only swept it, this thing needs pressure washed or at least new paint, it's pretty nasty in there. The appliances and cabinets, even though they where cleaned, they are outdated, the electric stove, I have to hold my pots and pans because I'm afraid they will fall, burners are tilted, and yes, there is an odd smell. Other than that, I love the place and both Jaime and Angela are great to work with, they sure made me feel welcome.

Nice place it's quite management very friendly you have a maintenance problem they are right on it the tenants are nice there is squirrels all over we have ducks swans geese in the pond reasonable rent

Really caring and down to earth staff at Leigh Meadows. Whenever I have a question I get a speedy and great response (thank you Carmin). Maintenance men and women are cool and get the job done whenever I have a issue in my apartment.

Do not live here. This apartment complex does not care about their residents what so ever. The price may seem good but what comes with it is not worth it. The apartments themselves are down right disgusting, from uncontrollable mold to uncontrollable bugs! There’s a reason they try to push pest control on you all the time. They try to act like they are a “smoke free” community but this place is a smokers paradise. They never give notice to their residents when they are doing things to the buildings like power washing breezeways. They don’t even give you notice when they will be coming into your apartment. I’ve have a maintenance guy walk in on my family more than once. If I knew the things I know now when I signed my lease I for sure would not be living here. Spare yourself your time and money and look somewhere else. The only way this place could improve is if it was leveled. I will definitely be gone once our lease is up!

Love this community. Maintenance always there to fix it that day even on the weekends. Safe and great neighborhood for children and families.

Moved in 2017 left in 2020 Nov because my window was randomly bust out. No sympathy from management and also no security or cameras to see what actually happened. I didn’t feel save for the remaining time there had to park my car by the front office because they only have cameras there.my kitchen light never worked was told by a electrician that the wiring in the apartment was poor that is why it takes 10 mins for the light to come on.new sprinklers were put in but giant holes were left in my walls for months even when I moved the holes were still there I was told that I would get a letter saying when the holes would be patched but never did. Rude maintenance not all but definitely majority. If you enjoy Maintenance randomly coming into your home to fix nothing this place is perfect you get random notes on your door about how it’s Mandatory for them to come in your home multiple times randomly throughout the year to fix old appliances that you will complain about until you move
