Leitz Music - Pensacola

Manager Rick is nice to work with, but E. C. King is so rude that my son & I will never go back. Saturday 7/1/23 we walked in as a nice older couple bought 2 guitars, but I guess King thought they talked too much because after they left King railed on them for 10 minutes, while my son & I were 5 feet away, made the place seem really negative. Then he was rude to my son about a pedal, and made rude, snide comments to me even though we were being nice and I was at the counter buying a Telecaster. I literally couldn’t believe my eyes and ears, I’ve never seen a guitar store employee act like that, and I’ve been in a lot of guitar stores. Seems like some serious retraining needs to be done at Leitz Pensacola. We saw the opposite at Blues Angel, nice helpful people, and we bought a great guitar there— that’s where we’ll be going from now on.

Great place to purchase a musical instrument. They have an extensive selection of instruments. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They allow you to play the instruments undisturbed, which I appreciate. I have purchased 2 guitars, an Epiphone Korina Flying V and a Gibson Les Paul P90 from them, and I am very happy with both. They also support you after the sale. You can not go wrong doing business at Leitz Music.

Pensacola is blessed with a couple great music stores. Leitz is absolutely one of them. Stellar inventory and great staff! Best place in town for high end guitars.

Absolutely fantastic music shop that is locally owned, and treats their customers right! I've purchased multiple items from Leitz Music in Pensacola, and every time I feel like I get genuine service from those who are interested in finding what's right for you. In contrast bigger box stores tend to drive you to the bigger profit margin items regardless of what you're looking for, and with that being said, the Leitz staff is always a great resource on finding what you're looking. Thanks Leitz team for being so awesome!

This place is pretty awesome. We always go in here for the best deals, if we need a small simple item they usually have it for pretty cheap. I like that this shop has everything you could find in a huge place like by the mall, but for more realistic prices. They aren’t there to bust your head, just to help you find the right thing for the right price. They had some really nice equipment in there! And it seems like a nice genuine home-owned business, I’m pretty sure the guy lives in the back with his adorable dog that everyone loves to say hi to. Great place, head here instead of guitar center.

The staff was very friendly. They didn't have of the things I needed, but it was an odd item, so I wasn't surprised. They did have they other and showed me an option if I couldn't find the last piece.

These guys are awesome. They're not pushy salesman/saleswomen. They have a vast array of equipment and instruments. They are very helpful with any questions you have. 4 stars is only because of ONE issue. Their building is offset from the road, just enough that the faces of other buildings, block the storefront. A sign at the right of way would make it more easy to find.
