Lemongrass Asian Bistro reviews
15Friendly servers. Great atmosphere. I picked up the Deep Blue Sea roll and the Lobster Monster Roll. Great presentation and delicious. Found myself still hungry though. Will need to come back and try their Thai dishes.
Our takeout was really tasty, especially the pad see ew. It had that nice wok smokiness and the noodles were soft and chewy. The poke was decent, but the portion was a bit on the small side for the price.
Great mix of Asian cuisines at a great price. They offer a wide variety of sushi.
Traditional Korean and Thai cuisine with their twist make for some unique and delicious dinners. When back in the Boca area, I will dine there again. Highly recommend.
Great service all around, casual atmosphere. Food was delicious! Great spot for a date night!
I tried the Mongolian steak with noodles and it was very good. Great food and beautiful atmosphere. Sitting outside is especially enjoyable.
Atmosphere great, service: they never get my order right and they’re slow. Then today I was so disgusted. There was a worm on my vegetables, I will never eat there again. Just beware: they prob don’t clean their food.
Really good food. Pineapple sesame chicken, lots of flavor and not too heavy. Forgot the other dish’s name but it was the flat noodles and we added beef was super good.
Arrived on a Friday afternoon for a late lunch.
In summary, this place is the Asian Food equivalent of a bad diner.
It labels itself a "Thai Sushi Vietnamese Bistro"
Like many diners, the menu is a chock-a-block mess of quasi-Thai standards, uninspired sushi choices, rando appetizers, American-Chinese entrees, and ZERO Vietnamese offerings.
By offering mediocre-at-best versions of everything this restaurant accomplishes absolutely nothing in the kitchen.
The prices are ridiculously high.
The waiter was a decent enough fella but that doesn't make up for bad rolls, weird pork, mushy noodles and overall subpar Asian food.
Go to the Vietnamese place around the corner instead.
I went with my family and friends to Lemongrass in Boca, and was so glad that we did.
Peter, the Manager, met us at the door, welcomed us in with a smile, and sat us at a great table for our large party, including 2 children. A great start to a wonderful meal.
We started with the delicious Lobster Monster and then proceeded to have a combination of unique Sushi Rolls (Lemongrass and Florida Rolls) and cooked Asian dishes.
The kids also loved their meals, which is not always the case when we go out.
The waitstaff that took care of us was also very attentive to our (and our kids) needs and requests. I like how they work as a team to make certain everything is perfect.
I have been to Lemongrass before and always enjoyed the food and time spent there. This time was truly worth writing about. Thanks to Peter and his staff for a great experience.
Used to really like this place but recently they raise their prices by like 25%…. I know everyone is raising their prices, but this felt like a huge jump. The lunch Steele used to be 1195 and now it’s 14.95. And that’s just for four pieces of a California roll and five pieces of sushi… when I asked if I could switch off the four pieces of California for Jb, they said it was going to be an extra $4! That’s a dollar per piece to upgrade to a roll that’s only two dollars more than a California on their menu…. Times are tough man…
The French of Fort Lauderdale…. 12 years later… here we are again… disappointed to have lost our lemongrass from Fort Lauderdale but what a surprise! We tracked down the manager in boca raton. Always friendly, modern decoration and Asian cuisine always at the level. For us, the best Japanese restaurant of the moment….
The Lyonnais of Fortlauderdale
$18 for a 6 piece roll? Ordered Volcano roll and sashimi roll. Not bad but not worth the price, even in Boca.
Thank you Lemongrass crew for having me. We came in for the first time to this location on Thursday and arrive about 15 min before happy hour was over (yikes! I know!).
I have to say that Craig (our server was great!) he was a bit serious when we came in, but warmed up as the night progressed. We were able to quickly order our happy hour drinks and apps before tule ran out so it was awesome.
For drinks my guest and I tried the lychee martini and the white peach drink. Unfortunately we didn't like either (they were SUPER strong mostly alcohol) but we managed.
For apps we had the pork bao buns and the pork gyozas. Both were really delicious! (I've never had gyozas so packed with meat).
Additionally we both order dinner we had the crispy duck (yum!), shrimp pai Thai (so much shrimp) and the Florida roll (also yum!)
Our server recommended the mango sticky rice for dessert. I've never had it before so I was excited to try. The mango itself was delicious, the sweet sticky rice was interesting. I'm not sure i would order it again, but I enjoyed it.
This is my all-time favorite restaurant- the food is AMAZING and the service is bar none. More importantly, my waiter Craig was exceptional. He's intimately familiar with the menu and happy to answer any questions and offer recommendations upon request. If you're in the neighborhood, check out this restaurant and ask don't forget to say hello to Craig.
One of the best dining experiences in Mizner Park. This restaurant is definitely all about quality and outstanding service. Same owners as Eat District and Ramen Lab so you can expect delicious food.
The menu is extensive with Asian staples like bao buns, noodles, curries, soups, and of course sushi. Must-tries are the Lobster Pad Thai, Grandma's Ribs, Lava Stone Wagyu Beef and of course, any of their specialty rolls will definitely impress the pickiest eaters. Also, they have full bar so this is also a perfect spot for a cocktail and apps before a concert in Mizner Park. I highly recommend a reservation, especially during the weekends. The outdoor seating is in high demand but the indoor dining is modern and very spacious and prefer the A/C:) I always opt for booth seating because it's more intimate.
Love this place. The food is always good and the service is excellent. Can't wait to back and dine here again before a concert.
