LensCrafters, St. Petersburg FL

I have been going to the LensCrafters in Macy's for over 6 years. They're quick and efficient, but mostly, it doesn't take all day. This place I waited 40 minutes after my appointment to even be seen by a doctor. Everyone is nice but I will not be returning. For a place that has a cancelation policy where you have to pay $40 to cancel, they do not run a tight ship. I am very upset at the sheer waste of my time.

The staff are nice and friendly. My family and I have had no issue with our eye exam at this location. I am one of customer whose data was compromise in Luxottica data breach in 2021. On 11/09/23 I had place a phone order for my brother's contact lens at this location, the credit credit used for this phone order is rarely used. So I was quite upset when it was fraudulently used on 12/18/23, therefore it concerns me that either there was another data breach or there was mishandling with my data at time of phone order.

The day I had my exam it was busy and also the computers in the Dr office were down. The staff were all very nice and patient. They assisted me with looking at glasses prior to my appointment so that when I was done with doctor I could be ready to decide on new frames if needed for my glasses.

James Pendleton went above and beyond to help me order my new glasses at Lens Crafters - Tyrone Mall. He was amazing! Very experienced (he really knows his stuff) and just a joy to work with. I ended up ordering 2 pair and appreciate his kindness and patience!

Be careful coming here for your first pair of glasses. It’s really annoying when you go somewhere looking for a basic/simple option then get bombarded with a ton of upgrades that you don’t need or ask for and suddenly what you came in for costs 3 times as much

James provided outstanding services and feedback for a friend and myself. Would highly recommend this location and seeing James to get your new glasses!

Wow is all I can say. The doctor that gave me my eye exam was wonderful but then when I went on the floor to try to find some eyewear on Saturday, they all stood there like zombies. I got no help whatsoever, so I basically just told the young gentleman that presented himself very unprofessional I was not in the mood and left and went to vision works where I’ve always gone and I’ve always got wonderful service and picked out with much help a pair of eyeglasses that I’m extremely happy with

I just went in today and picked up my new glasses. Amy assisted me and was very friendly and helpful and did a great job making sure my glasses fit properly. I have been going to LensCrafters for over 25 years, and to this store for the past 10 years. I have always had great service and wouldn't go anywhere else.

I am happy to say the doctor was great very knowledgeable and the staff were great my only big big pet peeve is I was told my contacts would arrive at my home within 3-5 business days, I gave 7days and no calls or email stating there was a delay. So I decided to call the response was they were not sure why it never shipped so they place a Expedite on my contacts which should be faster. I would have to pick them up at the store instead bummer for a busy person. I personally think it best for them to keep track of orders and follow up as a courtesy with there customers for better experience.

Dr Patel is AWESOME! She answers any question you might have. Also Heather the front desk is great too, she explains everything before she does it. They go out of their way to make sure your questions are answered. Amy one of the staff that helps you pick out glasses, she makes sure to give you the best customer service you deserve. Great place to go!

Doug was quick to help me, checked to make sure I got the best deal, and even helped me decide which frames looked best on me. He was efficient and knowledgeable and I was out of there in about an hour. Very pleased and can’t wait to get my new glasses.

Doug was super helpful and patient when I came in with my husband to get some new glasses. He was very knowledgeable when it came to what frames would work better with different lens prescriptions to make sure we got the best ones possible

I had a very positive experience here. My eye exam was very thorough. The technician who did the initial screening was friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Patel, who examined my eyes, was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I liked that the transition from my eye appointment to selecting my glasses was seamless. The LensCrafters salesperson was very helpful. She selected frames that worked for me. And the entire process was completed in a very timely manner. I’ve found my eye care team!

Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. Assisted with replacement program order. Clear communication regarding options and timing.

My personal favorite place to have an exam and get my glasses. I have traveled hours just to get a new pair here. Dr. Patel and Louis were amazing. I had so many questioned and they were happy to answer them all. They gave me great recommendations that I followed and am very happy with. I highly recommend coming here, for an exam, for glasses, for both.
