Leoma Lovegrove Gallery & Gardens reviews
14You will love her artwork, such vibrant colors, and fun subjects! A must see when you're in Matlacha.
Gallery full of beautiful leoma lovegrove prints available for purchase and a lovely garden in the back.
Talented artist, great colors, but she should keep her political ideas out of her shop. For me. It was a turn off.
Only posting because I wish I had known before going out of my way to visit here: This gallery is an homage to Donald Trump and conservative viewpoints that marginalize women. I could not justify supporting this business and will not return.
Leoma's studio is a delightful walk through the creative mind of the artist herself. Here you will find the fun, colorful, and whimsical artwork of Leoma Lovegrove. There are prints and canvases available for purchase in an array of shapes and sizes for all of your decorating needs. Take a stroll through the eclectic garden to see even more of Leoma's creativity brought to life. A must see for everyone.
What an interesting and fun place to visit in Matlacha! Vibrant, colorful art and a beautiful outdoor garden with plentiful shade on hot Florida days. Definitely worth a visit.
Very sad to see such a political statement. Came here for a nice shopping experience and was met with disgusting politics.
Love this art gallery! I am a big fan of her work and her cause. Her art work always brings a smile to my face. I have several of her prints and one small canvas.
An eye popping colorful experience that appears to represent the heart of the Matlacha artistic community. Fun!
Overpriced tacky neon glitter artwork that may have been in style 15 years ago. Wild Child is next door and they have beautiful, uniquely handcrafted, and local works of art. I spent $200 at Wild Child on handmade jewelry and would again tomorrow over the junk sold at Leoma’s
Leoma is a fraud and a horrible excuse for a human being.
She is aggressively rude, demeaning, and condescending.
Her public persona is one of peace and love, but she herself is easily one of the nastiest people I've ever come across.
All You Need is Love, right?
Except not at this place.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
I entered this gallery with two friends and also my little service dog. It was pretty crowded and I was keeping a close eye on Zoe so she would not get stepped on. As we were about to go into the garden area the artist confronted me and told me that I had to get Zoe out of her gallery. I Explained that she was a service animal but that did not make a bit of difference to Leoma. Why? ? I was told that Leoma has an “attack cat“ that lives behind the counter. I asked if we could go out into the garden area and was told just as rudely, “absolutely not! “ “ leave by the door you entered and do it now! “
I realize a lot of people have been taking advantage of the ADA‘s laws regarding service animals. This was not that. Zoe has been with me for 14 years and she is completely legitimate. In all those years, I have never met anyone as rude and obnoxious as this artist and the woman who helps her behind the counter.
I am only leaving one star because there is no ability to leave a giant zero.
The cognitive dissonance between creating peace themed and Beatles centered art and supporting such icons of hatred like Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis is jarring. Some of the art is unique and interesting but, supporting such self absorbed bigots overshadows anything on display.
