Leroy Collins Leon County Main Public Library, Tallahassee FL

Rollin’ Roo loves libraries and this one was exceptional. Staff was very friendly. Facility is well maintained. Quick tip, the main entrance is actually on the opposite side of the building from the advertised address.

Security is just terrible children are always in the adult section of the library being unmonitored by their adults as staff members as well as the adults who brought the kids to the adult section “upstairs” then wonder y there’s a 16 year old pregnant by a 25 year old adult wow fix it not make another disabled person

My experience at the Leroy Collins County Main Library is an absolute best way to get a different way of navigating and looking up books and also you have an easy access to either go for computer classes or even speak with someone who has job fairs and free Wifi to go online to build an resume for job searches

My 5YO is super into oceanography & sea creatures. We stopped by the Main Library this weekend and to our surprise they had an adorable ocean-themed scavenger hunt set up. Once completed he got to pick a prize.

It didn’t take long but definitely added some fun and adventure to our Saturday morning! I’d recommend stopping by the LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library System and having some fun? Shout-out to Leon County Government for cute moments like these. ️

Clean and quiet. What else can you ask for from a library. They seem to also put a lot of effort in for the kids.

Got my library card renewed and cards for the kiddos. Everyone was incredibly nice at this location. The kids are already looking forward to going back.

I love our library system here in Tallahassee. The facilities are neat, clean and quiet. The staff is always so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I use the app all the time to reserve books, what a great tool for people who love to learn and read!

I love this library. They give you a card that lets you check books out on your own. Lots of community programs, a book thrift store, events. Not too busy when I come in. They have a good selection of children's, YA, and adult books. Lots of comfortable seats. A must see if you're in the area.

Why are people allowed to talk freely and loudly here? A lady was on a speaker call for almost an hour.in the "quiet study area"; a guy is on his cell phone, and even staff talk pretty loudly to people. They really should be reminding everyone to whisper. Hard to study here.

Computer area is shared. My experience was with a bunch of noisy kids playing video games. Library staff did not even attempt to encourage them to keep the noise down. A library should be mostly quiet!

The Tails and Tales program offered by the Leon County Public Library this summer is the best. My niece and nephew enjoy the large selection of books at the Leroy Collins Branch. The staff is so helpful and always eager to assists us.

Friendly staff, major upgrades to the original floor plans and fast computers. Some of the keys on the keyboards are "tight". In lew of COVID-19 first come first serve, lol. Enjoy your time at the library rather it is for internet, copies, books, DVD's or the gift shop.

There are only about 9 computer's open out of almost 50. Literally ALL of the good books are gone. For what? Just entire shelf's gone and empty. They didn't even replace them they're just gone. Nothing is in their place just a empty space. If the city can allow there to be party's at the moon every weekend and at GVO why can't we have our library back!?

The library is an ok place but they let people record others without permission an don't do anything about it when asked too
