Lester's Diner, Fort Lauderdale FL

Was pleasantly surprised by this diner. The decor and atmosphere is great. The service was top notch. And the food…was awesome! I had the country fried steak with sausage gravy and it was phenomenal! My partner had the Spartan Omelette-think a gyro in an omelette and it was one of the best things I’ve ever had/tried and he LOVED it. Our friend had the 2+2+2 and had no complaints. We will be back if in the area again!

Had The Spartan Omelet and never in my life did I have a gyro style one and let me say it was AMAZING! Portion size is A+

Lester's is amazing. Our server Janet was as amazing as the food. I had the Greek combo and I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, it was the last meal before me and my girlfriend broke up but the food and service makes it a good memory. Yea, it's that good.

The food was great, and we had a problem and the waitress and owner took care of it right away.

Food and Service was excellent me and my companion both enjoyed our meals. Thank you we will be back to try the cakes they look delicious. Thank you for making my day perfect.

We were in from out of town and stumbled upon this place. What an awesome find! Food was delicious and service was fantastic. Get the sausage links. You won't regret it!

Haven't been there in years due to relocating. Today was as good as it ever was. I miss their pies!

I used to go to Lester's with my family every Sumday for breakfast. Sadly, where I live, there isn't one. My Dad recently passed away. My siblings and our kids went there after the funeral. There were 12 of us.the staff accommodated our family. So many good memories.

We arrived in Ft Lauderdale hungry and was glad that Lester's Diner was close to the airport. We both ordered the melted pastrami sandwich. The pastrami were somewhat fatty and chewy. The fries could be a little crispier. We ordered the coconut lemon cake for dessert. It was a bit dry and thickly covered with really sweet frosting. Overall, it was filling but we will probably not come back if we visit again. Our waitress was really nice.

I recommend to everyone! I didn’t intend to come in, but thanks to Victor (a restaurant employee) I came in and didn’t regret it at all. It was something, steak with shrimp pasta, pizza was just a gastronomic delight, and the sauce for the meat cannot be described in words. You just have to eat and eat with pleasure. Very attentive, friendly staff. I'm satisfied, strong five stars! Many thanks to Victor

The place has history at that location. People from all walks of Life come and go there. And you should too.

This is the only eggs Benedict in my entire life I didn’t finish it’s my absolute favorite breakfast dish. It had a musty/off taste on the hollandaise sauce and I didn’t even finish half. The potatoes had clearly been sitting in a tin under a heat light and tasted like they had been sitting there all day. I also got the Lester skillet to-go and the corned beef hash was a like a slightly chunky patté! Really bummed about the entire experience. Server didn’t do anything about the situation. Won’t be back.

The Best Cakes I have ever had. Honestly Grill Cheese with meat and tomato. And the Hostess and Take Out Server are Awesome.

24 hour service Perfect for when you travel to Miami and leave the airport late traveling with children

Lester’s is usually a pretty good diner, or so I had thought. Today was busy. The food came out gross, undercooked and half cold. The waitress was extremely rude and the manager “David” is as rude as the server. Absolutely Horrible customer service. Terrible experience. The Pompano Beach location is much better and they are at least nice there. This location in Fort Lauderdale needs major improvements, especially in food and definitely in service.

Top tier. This is one of my favorite restaurants to visit when I come to Florida. Service was top 10, food was top 10, coffee was fresh, and the bill was reasonable! I would highly recommend it!
