Don’t give up is my recommendation. Just because you receive a no is not failure of LGI or yourself. Definitely give it a chance and hang in there. The team is definitely on your side too. Adam was a delight to work with and gave me the tools and ideas to make my home happen after passing me on to my Mortgage specialist, Doug. A “no” does not constitute a bad review for LGI. Customer service is top notch and there is transparency if you just listen.

My experience with this company building on my street is horrible. The workers have thrown their water bottles and food wrappers on the ground instead of the trash dumpster. They have parked in front of my mailbox blocking the mail truck from delivering my mail. I had to ask a worker who spoke english as many of them do not, to move their vehicles on two different ocassions. Another driver when making a delivery ran over my horticulture trash can and when I saw him do this he said he would be back the next day with a new can but never did and I am still waiting now 4 weeks plus! Finally the straw that broke the camels back was on Friday September 15th when a driver I saw dumping dirt did not lower his dumpster in time thus breaking my internet line in the process and almost the electric line. I called up LGI Builders and addressed my concern about the damage their workers have done, to a salesman at the Cape Coral location who said he would let the construction manager know and took my info and address and phone number. Here it is almost a week later and nobody from LGI Homes had called me back to address the damage caused by there people. They need to take responsibility for their workers actions and have my trash can replaced and make me whole again for all the aggravation I had to go thru with them building across the street from me. Some of the trash their workers threw on the ground blew onto my lawn and I had to clean up when all they had to do was throw in in the dumpster. Shame on LGI Homes for this and not even returning my phone call!

My experience with LGI Homes was amazing. Charles Weinstein is professional and personable. The entire process was fast. He answered all our questions. We got to watch our home being built, which was an incredible experience. The minor problems we had when it was completed were corrected quickly. I highly recommend them to everyone I know looking for a new home. Thank you for our forever home!

We went to LGI to just “looking” and see their floor plans and we met Charles! He is such a great Realtor he took the time and explained everything to us, he was always on contact with us through the whole process, he was 24/7 available for questions and calls, he was more than a sales person, we felt so comfortable with Charles, he made this whole process so easy, if you guys are looking to get a house LGI homes are the place they not only have BEAUTIFUL houses but also the prices are amazing and second go see Charles, I promise you he is gonna make this process joyful and easy! And if you are a first time home buyer Charles would definitely take care of you the way he did for me and my family, so In love with my house

Very unprofessional and you have no warranty on your house. I made several warranty claims through their website and not one has been fixed. Shower is leaking, drywall messed up, stucco issues, paint issues, wall is completely twisted, electrical and lighting and more, not one thing fixed. I strongly suggest avoiding this builder at all costs.

I would give them a negative rating, if possible. Totally unprofessional in every single aspect. We were interested in finding out information, and that was it. Specifically rent to own, since we were put in a bad spot due to Hurricane Ian. We knew we were probably not ready to buy yet. My wife spoke to Debra Grover on the phone, and she manipulated my wife to come in; said they do rent to own, along with other programs. What she didn't tell my wife is that they don't have any rent to own; could've saved us a trip, but she wanted us in to make an attempt at a sale.

When we get there, she couldn't even bring us into an office. She had us meet in a room with multiple tables with other people meeting; it was quite loud and definitely not private. She did the fact finding sheet with us, which required giving private data like our SSN's. When she finished, she slid sheet of paper to us, while holding it so we couldn't read it and had us sign it. She knew at that point we weren't ready to buy and even said that we could easily come back in 3 months; reason she knew is because I'm 1099 and haven't been in my current position for 24 months.

She then told us she was going to check the numbers, which to me meant do an illustration to show us what the cost of homes would be monthly, etc. Never once mentioned she was doing a hard credit inquiry for us, because had she said that, I'd have said no. And she knew I'd have said no. Yet ran our credit anyhow.

She essentially laughed in our face, and made us feel foolish for even coming in to ask.

Thanks Tom Pultan for giving us 2 years of your life helping us get on the right track to home ownership. Today we went to settlement Now we are proud owners of a gorgeous. LGI home. You are the best!
